Alex please do more of these walk throughs. They are the most helpful
You really are one of the best educational music youtubers out there. You always keep it so simple, get straight to the point, explain your concepts clearly, and it's always so easily applicable even if we don't use the same DAW or plugins you do.
Not only did I make a great song inspired by this, I also used your orbital presets pack! Love it thanks!

And last drop is great
Sounds crispy
Damn, it actually makes a lot of sense to start with vocals... As you said, it sets the arrangement in place, and then you just need to find chords and other sounds to add details/depth. I've always struggled with the arrangement, as it's my weak point, while designing sounds or composing notes is my strength. Will give it a try!
I've been using FL Studio for years, but if I had a macbook I would probably buy Logic Pro. The UI just looks so much cleaner
Second drop is my favorite
thanks
As a biginner Watching this video i feel i can now finally make a good house music.
Good vid! Make more like this! :D
Sorry I was late your honor new Alex Rome vid dropped
Thank you Alex, you are inspiring me to keep learning to put down (translate) the music in my head.
I liked the second one by far
Wow! I dont really like chopping things up with an LFO tool, it ends up sounding too static! The last drop hits the best as it is groovy while the choppy one feels quite stale. That bass groove sounds so pro man good job!
Hi Alex, another great track and video, any possibility you can let us know what pack on splice you got the vocal from..?? Thanks Rik.
i like it bro
I liked your choice the best too, the studer acapella and chords are nice but theyd better fit a faster beat more like trance or psychedelic. Good video
FIRE
If the general idea is to make the songs around a vocal melody, it would be nice to have some info on how to do that vocal melody. It kind of is the most central piece of the song. I wanna make the main attraction myself and not just use someone else's.

yeah, he explains nothing... it's a "just do what i do and trust the process" type of tutorial, which is nice for "i need to do a quick x-style song for tonight" but not for actually learning why this is a house song and not a drum n'bass or hardstyle xD. Basically for each genre he does this is basically one single video that can be re-uploaded cause click-baity title
I like the first drop better, the second one i personally would add as a second drop for nothing other than unexpected inconsistency

Is there anyway to hear full of the final product? I love trance. This track is great.
I'm currently playing around with things like this as well. Nice video, and it doesn't depend on the DAW.
Is it possible to make some tutorials for triplets rhythm? Thanks
alex rome!!!!!!
can you do a video of you making the pluck bass in serum or vital
micro dosage :) the best great vid.
Class
I would fade from the smooth drop to the gated one
Could you do a build on Future funk?
Can I use any of the effects for audio vs midi? My instrument doesn't allow midi plugins

Hey Alex, How can I contact you privately regarding music?
Feel This Good - Polygon 🙃
Hey, how can I send you my songs? I’m a beginner and I’ve made 16 songs, and I’m stuck on the one I’m currently working on. Oh yeah, and I work on computer GarageBand.
Dude, this was like painting with Bob Ross.

Any synth plugin should work to make the sounds in this video. They are simple sounds using only a single voice each which means even the simplest free synths should be able to pull off these sounds.
ROME FOR PRESIDENT!

I always did the beat first, a usual sound or sample. Something sci-fi sounding.
Is there any artists making house music using other animals than humans for acapellas? Like cows and pigs.

I wanted to make music, now I don't. 😂
The Acapella has A minor but you said G minor....😮
Nice, but i am afraid that it is not that simple for most of us.
