He really is. My favorite is that he uses songs I know from artists I admire that other people like and we get to learn all their little tricks then I get to apply them to my songs and my production is so much better. Alex Rome is straight up the GOAT for any new producer.

My god I wish I would have had this video years ago. I always just produced the raw idea but never really knew about anything you taught in this video. never understood how others could consistently make their songs sound so rich and lively. Layers change everything
Great video Alex! im always happy to see you upload!

Thanks for stopping by my guy!
I've been making music on and off since high school but it was always a hobby for me. I always wanted a career in music but kinda gave up because while I could make a song, I rarely knew what I was actually doing. There's thousands of tutorials out there but very few actually dive into the "why" essentially making the info irrelevant to any newcomers. It's channels like yours that made me fall in love with making music again. Thank you for everything you do for the community man.
I have learned so much from you through you're channel. Thank you .
The veldt... this is a pure masterclass song, such purity, depth, sadness, joy, reality in this track... one of my fav 🤩
Very nice to see how excited you get about music and creating /producing music. Thanks for the content.
Your enthusiasm is so contagious in all of your videos! And all of your techniques are so well explained. These bite sized techniques are all useable and memorable, which helps me feel like I can make use of them myself too. Simple and effective doesn't mean they aren't powerful or useful. Other software I use for art calls these kind of things "atomic" because they can be combined to make something greater than themselves. This video feels like 7 more atomic techniques to utilize. Thank you again for sharing!!
Straight praxis as always
Your skills are impressive, dude!! Thank you for sharing them!
Dude you have such great energy, makes me want to try to get back into producing again since i got discouraged and fell out of it
Sylenth 1 I used to dream about owning and now I do. It's awesome

FL Studio users - use the consolidate feature or put Edison on your mixer after the delay/ reverb and record the sound in and drag in to project

Highlight the sound(s) and then press Ctrl+alt+C after adding effects, will consolidate the sound with effects on it as long as they are enabled. then you can cut as needed.
okay this deserves a sub frl frl
Love the WIDE BASS part :o !!!
Noice stuff bro!!

I'm always bouncing back stuff with heavy reverb. Just continuing to resample it can be interesting ear candy
You have the same voice as Matt Garstka, best drummer in the world

Yoooooo who let this man cook
Nice
Great video, thanks man. I have used many of these techniques in the past simply because it made sense, but you have explained and put it all into words nicely. I never knew they were distinct techniques, or even had names... Also, you had two songs in this entire video both with female vocals (time stamps below). Will they be released?? Please provide a link to them for my Spotify, if so. - This one here at 4:36 - And this one at 14:07
another great tutorial video Alex, btw, do you use paulstretch plus sometimes to make drones? if so, how do you use them? cheers mate
For when my beat lackin in the low area but i dont wanna add more sounds, what i do is: duplicate the beat, half time it to a complementary rhythm, narrow it down with the eq to a good range, and do some spectral imaging to make it fit where the “thickness” is missing. If its done right to a track it’s like u have a new song
great
Superb Alex 👌 can i ask where would be the best place to get vocals 👍 vocals you ha exare fire 🔥
14:09 + 16:33 → FIREEE 🔥 !!!
Just 👍
Wassup Rome it's been awhile blessing
Uh...yeah...by FAR this is the best technique: 14:45 Technique 7 - hidden rhythm layers
My favorite part of making music is to add ear candy to my tracks. Its magical.
really dope video! also are you related to coyote peterson? yall have the same voice and look the same. coyote is that you?
Really good on midi but you should please explain to novices that your using a as software instrument track, like my nephew he's just starting and he explained about the missing parts of videos that leave him stumped. Still a great video...👍🏼
u the best producer out there!
very useful techniques that I will be utilizing in my work thanks!
Am in the studio rn had to pause my producto watch this vital info. Thanks❤❤❤

13:30 it’s basically already done in FL lmao

in technique 5, why dont you show us the audio effects added to the serum? Clearly a new preset with unison and filter change does not sound the same at all. This is misleading :(
FL studio - consolidate
