  Correct me if I'm wrong, but the change for the Theyn, is that only the first time it takes damage in the whole game because it says "the first time during the battle"? Maybe I'm just reading it wrong. It only happening once seems kinda lame and something easily missed.

  I may have understood you wrong, but how I read the Felgor Reckless Det. change is that you CANT be in cover to benefit from it. I.e. you cant get 2 automatic saves if youve already activated and are in cover, now its just a "if youre in the open you get a free cover save". Def a mild feels bad when I just got my Ravagers in the mail yesterday.

  @@waynedodson7360 Yes, my bad, you have it right. Such is the problem of trying to not get hung up on a single rule for too long, I have to speed read! I wouldn't take this as any level of feels bad, honestly. Fellgor are strong enough that I promise you, if you want to keep friends, you want them nerfed. they're too strong and not in a fun way. A few nerfs are good for the team

  3:55 you missed the change to Legionary, now the ROSTER can contain all 4 marks, but the TEAM can't have the disallowed pairs. EDIT: nvm you got to it 3 minutes later.

  Completely agree with your comment regarding rosters in this edition. I guess the idea of not having them in one of their game systems was too weird for gw.

  The previous Hierotek Reanimation Protocol used to say “Before living metal”. But it also originally said “After living metal” back when the team was released. Now it doesn’t say either before or after in this latest update. What do you think?

  @@jamesmalloy3445 Ooh, unless I missed something, it will still work the same as it's not modifying that part of the rule! This is only changing how many wounds you regain, not when you reanimate

  I've had it explained to me by people that are better than me that this is after living metal now. So they can't heal after reanimation

  Per the actual rule as printed in Shadowvaults, Reanimation protocols activate after living metal. This was changed to be before living metal in a prior dataslate. Since that change is no longer present, it is now after living metal again. This means the wound-count on reanimation is 3-5, which means Immortals are usually injured, and Cryptek, Despotek and Apprentek are always injured. Further it makes them negligibly easy to one-shot after returning. It's a huge nerf to the team.

  @@GlassHalfDead From the Q1 Balance data slate -Reanimation Protocols ability: Resolve before Living Metal ability, operatives are successfully reanimated on a 2+, they regain D3+3 lost wounds.... I would say it no longer happens before living metal.

  What they needed was a buff to their dash, not this. Make their dash 4inch and also the extra inch like their move does.....then they can actually get on objectives with a move-dash.

  @@warp5p1d3r6 Depends what you look for in a wargame! Personally, Warmachine isn't MY type of game. However I have had fun when I play it, much more fun than I probably should when you just look at the mechanics on paper. It's a better game than 40k and is in a similar vane. But I'm a skirmish player really. I like warmachine because the world gives me strong Warcraft vibes and I like having the models on a shelf. So to each their own!

  @@GlassHalfDead always the biggest problem is having someone to play with. That's why 40k, even over AoS, is still top. So easy to find people to play against and then you don't have to own two armies and all the terrain yourself and of course worse than that is painting it all.

  @@warp5p1d3r6 Oh for sure! I think 40k is a really bad game on so many levels. But it's got the instant community and you can always get a game of it, and those 2 things are enough for 95% of people. And honestly, rightly so!

  We need to design a PDF printable game with tokens. Printing miniatures to replace tokens should be easy. Just do not use Star Wars logo or brand or thngs that could lead to a lawsuit. Make game under creative commons.

  Each KT season box will have 1/4 of an MDF terrain board. The terrain won't be available outside of the KT box, for some period of time, and so all 40k players will want at least 1 of each set, as they're released. Lack of availability will be compounded by some tau players wanting vespids, etc. In every comment section, there will be at least one posting saying "Mini Hacksaw go brrrrr". Eventually, everyone will be able to get their exorbitant, premium L-shapes, and all will be forgotten as attention turns to 'the next thing'.

  Well done showed this series to my son who is just starting to play the videos covered so many things that someone who has never played tabletop miniature games have a hard time picking up. Now when we get him his necrofactorium models he will be ready to play!!
