Here I talk about new music, very old music, the music industry and what's going in the world of rock and roll in general.
We're doing this together and I love it.

I really like Boys in the Better Land but it's definitely one of their more standard tunes so i find the disappointment in their other songs for being too generic or whatever perplexing.

Hey Justin, can you check out the song 'Shadow in the Sun' by Joe P? It just might be one of the best riffs of the decade

I think Lenny Kravitz is so derivative. He’s good at duplicating, but not good at being original.

Well, when I was a kid and that song came out, here was my obnoxious 16 year old version: "Take me down to the headbanger city Where their hair is long And their music's shitty."

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!!! Like you, I was taken in with Boys In The Better Land, but then nothing much after that caught my ear. Until I heard Starburster on the radio here in NY. Man, this is so good!! I have since gone back and listened to an Essential Playlist of their's on Apple Music and came to really appreciate them. In fact, they are playing Brooklyn in October and I got my tickets. Always enjoyable to watch Justin. Oh, and I have to say, I am always so impressed on your musical skills and how quickly you can pick out a melody of chord progression. Did you go to music school or are you self taught? Cheers!!

Hey Justin, how are you? How about reacting to a band making a cover of your band? kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZH6BvM2Ld7iXd8Y.html This band is called First to Eleven and they are from Erie at Pensilvania in the US, they have some KZread videos with many views. If you find it interesting try then watching a video of their band parallel called Concrete Castles, with original material. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZJ6ttKixps3glqQ.html

Nothing interrupts an Aussies 'Smoko'. Not even someone drowning. When the Bass Player walks up the hill and looks over his 'sunnies,' he is challenging us with his defying glare. Everything about this song and the video is hilarious. The accompanying music that plays along with the lyrics "all I get is elevator music" is pure genius. Plus, the Drummer is 'miming' to the song and not even making contact with what is in front of him. The whole concept of The Chats is taking the 'proverbial piss' From all reports the rest of the World is loving this great Australian export.

Super funny nobody gave a damn about it her over the past decade. She’s been doing this for along time, now everyone is on the bandwagon. I personally can’t vibe with them any longer with them deranged lefties. Saw her live in Cleveland in 2015 when she was part of IWABO.

While Justin was complaining that the guy dribbling the ball never uses the other leg, I was complaining that Justin never played, nor commented to, the most interesting part of the song (the breath-in in the chorus). As I write this, it’s still driving me crazy that he ignored it.
