David Draiman is one of the most powerful, and truly dynamic singers out there. I wasn’t a Disturbed fan until someone gave me a free ticket, live, they blew me away. And do not even get me started on the magnificent, majestic, timeless Ann Wilson! This is so great

Ann Wilson is definitely a rock legend, I get goosebumps everytime I hear Crazy On You by heart. The raw emotion and power she has in the chorus and bridge of that song *shivers*

Walking down memory lane......I actually saw David Draimon for the first time standing by Mudvaynes Amplifiers on stage 2 of Ozzfest. He was singing along, without a Mike watching. I am so fortunate. You see, I was standing up against 5he barricade, which is where I enevatbly end up at every show. There couldn't have been more than 50 people watching, as Mudvayne hadn't hit it big yet. About a year later I took my daughters down to Big Dudes instrument's in Westport Missouri to meet Disturbeds Drummer who signed a poster and pair of drumsticks for them. He was very gracious and kind. The epitome of how a human should treat another.

Sooo privileged to get to see Heart perform on New Year's Eve in Seattle! Sounded incredible for 2024

I got dragged to a Heart show in 2004, after their peak, and left a huge fan of Ann and Heart. That was without a doubt the best live vocal performance I've ever heard. I'd dragged my girlfriend to a Metallica show and the payback was she dragged me to see Heart. Never had to drag me again though. Two things that stuck out to me were 1) Ann's incredible voice, and 2) Heart sounded like a metal band for a good 2/3 of the show. Didn't realize at the time how heavy a lot of their catalog is.

Power metal ballad masterstroke duetting with the legendary Ann Wilson. David Draiman is known for his aggressive and powerful singing style, and a ballad is a solid way to diversify the metal sound of Disturbed. Disturbed are the sort of melodic metal with heavy riffs and powerful choruses I could well imagine JHRA embracing. Intriguing mid-week charts in the UK. A metal and punk rock revolution in the UK if Green Day, Neck Deep and Saxon were the top three albums at the end of the chart week in Britain.

She has a dreamy voice for the lack of better words.

There is only one improvement they could have made to this song; inviting Nancy to come play the solos. The Wilson sisters are living legends!

Would have been cool for her to be the one strumming the acoustic at the end as a cameo. But Ann probably wouldn't have waned to share this song with Nancy.

One could argue Disturbed fall under a bunch of different metal genres. I like a lot of their stuff

I don't even know how I even stumbled upon your channel, Justin - didn't know who you were before, but I've been subscribed and following nearly every vid 🎉

I'm always 'ears perked' when Justin goes into explaining anything music related or how the body works to create sounds, for example. Also, his tone & control are Amazing. Always leaving me with things to think about. I was honestly more interested in all of that than the song itself. He's just Brilliant! Any humour thrown in is a bonus. Nice to see Ann still has such a strong voice. Taking good care with that.

David Drainman's voice is amazing, I've always loved a baritone voice, and the way he seamlessly changes octaves always surprises me, I've never been more impressed with a voice such as David's.

Appreciate the insight actually going to give some new Disturbed a proper listen. You make all music more interesting JH.

Yes they did have one or two songs on the soundtrack, but on the actual movie score the vocals were all Jonathan Davis from Korn, as Lestat. 😊

I'm ambivalent about Disturbed, Anne Wilson was such a treat, great singer, should have roped in Nancy, her scattergun call and response style would have taken the song to another level. Anyhow this response is not about my dubious opinions but to say you're doing a well good job, I'm subscribed and I do enjoy.

If you like this you should check out Doro and Rob Halford's cover of "Total Eclipse of The Heart", that kicks ass too. It came out in December I think, i just stumbled across it the other day.

David Draiman is awesome, as is Ann Wilson (my rock chick crush). Their voices are really well matched. Btw, you managed quite a good digeridoo impression Justin!

Ann Wilson is one of the best female vocalists ever, beautiful voice.. I put her alongside two, other talented female singers, Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand, they all have fantastic, soaring voices which make you shiver. I like the song, it's a powerful love ballad, full of emotion, his voice is OK, although I couldn't really hear it too well. I'll listen in headphones as you suggest, Justin. Not much more to say, except thank you for another brilliant and technical analysis, and you also have a beautiful singing voice, I know a good singer when I hear one.
