TronicsFix

Welcome to the TronicsFix KZread channel! We believe that repair matters. In an age where it seems like everything is becoming less repairable we're here to show you how to fix it anyway! We think that there's no reason to throw something away if it can be fixed. On our channel, we'll show you what's inside some of the latest tech (and sometimes the old stuff too!), teach you how to fix your own stuff, and also give you an idea of what it takes to make some money on the side if that's what you're into.
We think that broken sucks and we're here to show that repair matters. So if you'd like to learn, fix, and/or earn we'd love to have you as a subscriber.

How much does a repair like this usually cost? I’m pretty sure this is what is wrong with mine, but I’m wondering if the cost to repair it is worth it or just be better off going and getting another Xbox

I'm amazed about your methods for repairs. Very sloppy and inconsistent, plus reassembling the whole device just to test. In the end didn't show the right side's pads also.

It just baffles me how the heck people break an HDMI Port and why someone would charge over $400 bucks for a repair! Just blows my mind man

Love watching the videos, and I'm pulling for a you as well. Get well soon. From what I can tell on this, it looks BIOS related like others have posted. I'd love to see a part 2 where you re-flash the chip to see if that fixes it. Take Care Steve!

Have had many, many HDMI devices in our house for many years. Nobody has ever damaged in here, because the first time they got one I explained how to plug the cable in and how easy it was to damage things. Problem solved.

Hi, Steve. Let me start by saying I love your videos. I've learned a lot from you and I appreciate you doing this. I just bought a microsoft x box one x Off of eBay, the ad said previous repair attempts made once I get it in. I'm gonna take a look at it. And see if everything's there, it's got no power. I was wanting to find out what it would take to get you to take a look at it.

Above the right analog stick on the main board you can see a hidden message: "thx2 allgamefans". It's actually visible from the outside if you move the analog stick!

What temperature do you get your heat gun to desolder the pads and what temp for resoldering new pads? I've been trying to get into soldering but failed hdmi port on Xbox one miserably. Burnt the board trying to break solder on old port.

I am having a weird issue, I bought a Xbox series X from someone, the HDMI port has a slight bend but it would still display nicely, but when I ever would launch an graphically intensive game the game would start glitching out and crash after a while, and this would only happen on graphically intensive game so I thought it might be the thermal paste so I replaced the thermal, now the glitching is gone but the game still crashes like after 2 minutes, do you think it could be a bad SSD or is the HDMI port causing issue but I don't see how a bad HDMI port could cause a game to crash this is really odd

Hang in there buddy! I’ll keep watching. You are one of my favorite channels (along with Marshal’s Wristwatch Revival). I’m inspired to rejoin the repair movement because of you since I’m done with deployments and retiring from the Navy soon. If you run into problems don’t be afraid to start a kickstarter and ask us for help.
