This scene was immaculately pulled off by talented actresses that allowed us to envision what the incredible life of Her Majesty might have been like. Her death left the entire world without the one constant we'd all come to rely on. What pressure we put on her shoulders and how she triumphantly carried it for over 70 years. I don't believe the world will ever see a leader like her again. That said, the final shots of her walking through the hall towards the light were basically Nintendo 64 technology. Leisure Suit Larry or Zelda had pretty much the same graphics. For such an amazing series that captured the attention of not only the world, but also the Royal Family, you'd think they could've spent a bit more on the final shots of the finale. CGI is only as good as the money spent on it.

Life, is just like a piece of television series film. The many cameras and shots that are held at different angle and position, we are the casts, we see versions of ourselves, whatever decision and choices we make.

It’s like the Duke leaves before her and then when The Queen listens to the song she knows her time has come and she realizes her commitment to her kingdom is over. She walks out to the light with dignity and majestic… her past pays tribute to her…. I wasn’t a huge fan at first the royals but when I saw this scene…. I thought to myself… “farewell , Your Majesty”. The greatest Queen of this era.

I appreciate the scene where the Queen asks them about Charles and Camilla's marriage, and the camera places William and Harry on two opposite sides of the screen with her in the middle - it's a delicate bit of symbolism foreshadowing the different paths they'll both take.

Lady Di, with her graceful looks, elegant dresses, peaceful mannerisms, among other multitude of qualities delighted the world with her presence. I was mostly touched by the work she did for AIDs patients. Wasn't that a time (1990s) when this AIDs had become like an epidemic? We were asked not to touch opposite sex for a reason- AIDs. Irony, Diana was the Goddess Artemis back in the day and people made lot of money selling her statues. I think l, and am not sure about this, didn't even get any secret message shared about this - that Lady Di didn't die that day. She escaped via that tunnel.

I’m an American and I find this very difficult to watch. Prior to the ascendancy of King Charles she was the only British Monarch that I ever knew. Seeing her entire reign flash before me reminds me of my own trials and tribulations in life. She was the best Monarch the world has seen in a long time and a very honorable woman. May she rest in eternal peace.🙏🏻

The way the Mercedes is driven in the film is wildly inaccurate. It is shown as driving away from the hotel at a reasonable pace before picking up speed. Eyewitnesses confirm that Henri Paul launched the car "like a rocket" from a standstill. Even at the end when it enters the tunnel, the car in the film is going far too slowly to accurately represent what happened that night.

I heard Mercedes is a luxury car. Why is it always in the news for an accident? Crash or something? Don't they have safeguards or safety inbuilt in that luxury vehicle? Weird.

The final scene of The Crown season six, where Queen Elizabeth meets her younger selves and walks through that hallway for approximately 70 seconds while “Sleep, Dearie, Sleep” plays softly in the background, hit me incredibly hard. It reminded me of the moment her passing was announced, and I still cannot fathom that she has left us. The series is magnificent, but she was greater than any series could ever portray. Her dedication and commendable service to the Imperial family and the nation will always be deeply admired and missed. A truly poignant tribute to an extraordinary monarch.

One thing is for certain. Her son, Charles, will never be the monarch his mother was. Queen side chick aka Camilla should never have been allowed. The Queen did the best she could. She had to deal with hooligans of society and her own family. I honestly don't know how she stood so long with all around her. But she did. REST IN PEACE, YOUR MAJESTY, QUEEN ELIZABETH II.

They should have never gotten married. She was way too young, and everyone took advantage of her. When her natural talent started to shine, they had one goal, and that was to snuff her light out.

Hehe. She wasn't a whore, heir sure. I don't believe she died that day. My heart can't accept that them love birds died that day. Most likely they escaped into their own world trying to find privacy. Quite likely they flew to America or some Muslim state. Or lived a private life in the hills of India. Diana was pregnant at the time. They needed an escape.
