*Horror! The technology is like 80-100 years ago. The accuracy and purity of the processing remain a big question. There is no safety precautions at all stages of work.*

Boss: " I need that part finished today". Machinist: " My tail stock is toast, I can't guarantee a very accurate thread or pitch". Boss: " Plus/Minus .750 is fine, We'll give him 10% off".

Enhorabuena.

OSHA would have a field day with all the violations in that factory, open toe shoes, loose fitting clothing, no eye protection, trip hazards everywhere, etc. However, they do some pretty damn good work in spite of all the hazards.

I wonder when that gantry crane had a load test performed on it. My guess is no one would know. Also they work in very unclean environments. There is crap lying everywhere. How do they not hurt themselves when they have no protective wear at all.
