It’s very exhausting for following such a lifestyle i do work 8 to 5 as well. But can’t seem to sleep around 9/10 PM. I feel like i am missing out a lot like i have not so much free time for my self and i will eventually sleep a bit later. but then i feel exhausted and tired at work. Please help me out so that i can get my head around this, working a 8 to 5 job.
Tell me you know someone who got you hired without telling me you know someone who got you hired = this person
Do you ever worry you may get replaced by AI?
You don’t even say how you got into QA
Hii dear, i am learning software testing diploma
Hi there, just curious, is your day officially 8-5?
Hi Madeline🐱, Im living in Sweden now and im a japanese woman. I like your Video. I can se with japanese traslate ! I have been thinking about Software tester job, so its very meaningful video for me
I just finished a 4th round interview for QA. I hope that everything works out because it would definitely be my big break.
Hi, Dont know if youre going to see this, but this is very informative, but i feel with #1, I think you may need to elaborate. I mean what kind of questions may you be asked and how exactly could you "attempt" to answer?
Just a somebody role to explain bullshit having no results then asked on a google or in any search input "QA". May have used to doing explaining homework, but it does not have any results as software developer or PHP or C#. Not sure is there anything you work with as your tools, but yeah you can't show them. 3:41 you don't want to click that or have it installed as root 755 or knox permissions sudo su.
Hi Madeline! just love your enthusiasm and the peaceful vibe you bring to each video-it's so calming and makes learning a joy. 😊 Your journey is especially inspiring to me as someone who also wants to switch fields into psychology for my master’s, just like you did. Could you share more about the process and any tips for someone with a different undergrad background? How did you navigate the application process for your master’s program in psych? Thanks for all the great content and for being such a positive voice on here!
Hi Madeline 🥰🤗. I love your videos so much!!! I always feel so inspired after watching them. Thank you for making this world a brighter place!!!🥰🥰🥰
I love your cooking tips!! You’ll have to do a meal prep video! Thank you for sharing! I have to try the cheesecake recipe!!
Thank you for making these videos!! It’s super helpful and you are so talented!!
Do you think a stay at home mom could be a QA tester? Could I go pick up my kids from school when needed, or do you have meetings on someone else’s schedule? I guess how flexible is it? Thank you!!
Do you do resume checks?
I have decided to remain a substitute as that enabled me to have more time outside of work (not having to lesson plan or mark and stuff) but what holds me back from changing careers is not having the freedom to take time off and having to request time off etc :'( I cant imagine just having 2 weeks off in the whole year
Hello I was looking in your old videos to find the answer but where did you go to school or bootcamp courses etc in order to gain your skills to land your position in Manual QA? Im seeing sooooo many different camps and courses all the above and im just like where in the heck do i start?? Im coming from a Medical background
Hi Madeline, an important skill to have as a QA tester is attention to detail. For example, this video's thumbnail has the text "SKILLS I USE EVERDAY" instead of "SKILLS I USE EVERYDAY"
What tools and how you document project 😇?
I just love your video’s! Miss you when you’re not posting 😢 but very understandable that life (work) got busy. Especially discovering test automation at work, it’s an ongoing process and fun once you get the hang of it. I have learned so much the past 1,5 years working as a QA after switching careers. I’m curious how you’re doing and can’t wait for an update sweet Madeleine ❤
How much manual qa can expect with 3yrs of experience?
I don't speak English fluently.. do you believe this will be a problem with me?
Hey!😊 when are you posting @ new video?
See brilliance, ownership is a big word to use, but I'd use responsibilty
As a QA manager I would say this is spot on when you are starting out in a QA role. These are skills that have become 2nd nature to me that I forget these are the building blocks. Thank you for being transparent and helpful!
Amazing ❤
Can you please make a video on this job for women? There is a narrative that this job is boring
Thank you for your service. Seriously, I thought about teaching when I was in college, but I knew it was not a good fit for me. You aren't just teaching a subject, to some extent (and sometime to large extent) you end up raising children and you need to speak at least two languages - at least in southwest. So I say not only should you get more time to prepare for the day, you should paid more. A lot more.
Happy New Year Madeline!!!!
Do i need a degree or do i need certifications?
I started watching your channel about a year ago trying to find out about the journey I was about to take leaving my underwriting job in insurance to become a QA analyst and after I passed my ISTQB exam I was able to land a QA job and I'm so happy. You have definitely been a motivator in the journey thank you ☺️🙌🏽
Congrats on passing and being able to change your work life experience🎉
Congrats!🎉 How integral of a role would you say having the ISTQB certificate played in securing a QA job?
I love your video I applied for one position where they give an apprenticeship.. I’m still not accepted for the job but to give me more reinsurance so thank you for that
I enjoy your videos and your approach to the job! Looking forward to watching more of your vlogs and insights into QA! I worked as QA for 1 year after switching from HR and than took a break in career. Thinking about returning to QA now and your videos have been very helpful…
I'm just about the enroll for this Course, but needed a sign! I will come back in 6 months or so.
Hello. Thank you for the video. What do you use for notes?
Hi Madeline, do you know where I can take courses so I can get certified for this role? I want to switch careers and would like to try this.
Madeline! Love this video - especially when revisiting at start of March when this energy is long behind us in terms of goal setting :)
Hi Madeline, Can you please share how you got your breakthrough into Software Tester from a teaching background? Did you follow any courses?
Hey guys im gonna pass the istqb certification and im totally beginner what i wanna know, is it hard to find a job as a beginner?!
which tools do u use to check if the fixed bug I installed or not?
Hi Madeline, I think I saw somewhere that you uses to be a teacher? If so, I'm interested in hearing about your transition from a teacher to QA. I'm a teacher and looking to make a career change to taking courses in QA.
How can I become doing qa without any experience or education ??
another lovely vlog with lovely music!
almost done watching all of your vlogssss more pls more haha
the sad reality is that, automation is now killing our career (manual QAs), i don't have the patience to learn java and such :( but i think i have to.

I'm a 10 year software tester / QA. watching your vids is so addicting. thanks for your QA insights!
Love watching your videos. They're so cozy! I had my daughter May of last year and this January I've been contemplating a lot of new goals. I would love to transition into Tech! Inspired by your goal setting! Can't wait to see your next video!
