My First Work Week as a QA Tester (again…) | work week in my life vlog
Hi friends! This vlog is a work week in my life as a Software Quality Analyst. I recently started working in QA again after about a six month break, and I'm actually pretty excited to be back! This vlog shows my first week back, working from home, how I stay healthy during the work week, and other odds and ends. I hope you enjoy!

I started watching you a long time ago because of qa testing and to see how life is in US. Then you stopped qa testing and I rarely watched your videos. Now, I am watching you again :D Greetings from Serbia, City of Smederevo :)

I like that instant realization that having money hit versus chasing a dream job that doesn't exist. Really glad you make more content for QA since not a lot of people vlog for QA that are interesting.
Love your vlogs. My first work week starts tomorrow, seeing your Vlogs is helping me to calm my nerves down. Keep up the work! ❤
Back to QA. That's great. I like the new desk setup. Getting that gym time in. I hope the quarter life crisis is fading away and you're not overwhelmed with that.

Thanks Sal! I'm feeling pretty good, happy to be settling back into a familiar career!
I also just started a wfh job! I love your tips about staying active, getting out of the house, and staying connected with coworkers it definitely can feel isolating. I started about a week ago…and one coworker in particular always reaches out to me. It makes me feel included & welcomed on the team, so don’t think it’s annoying! If you don’t mind me asking, I’m curious what state you are located in? We seem to be experiencing very different weather😂

How do I get into manual testing? I'm totally new to coding and I'd love to do some manual testing to get myself in the water. Testing is how I found myself following Madeline's channel in the first place lol. Any tips and pointers will be welcome.

Greetings from Poland. I am just starting the education in my 40+ Hopefully I will manage to learn it all and pass exam for ISTQB ..... Like watching you )))
Hi Madeline. I hope you are doing well. It had been quite a long time since I last saw any of your content on your KZread channel. I was actually really pretty busy with my office work, switching companies and other stuff etc..... So, the other day, very recently, I just happened to remember you and I simply thought it's been such a long time, let me just check in case you have uploaded any vlogs, I was under the impression you would be doing pretty well in your graduation course. Then, I saw what exactly happened and trust me, I simply could not believe it. Now, that, you are actually back to doing / working on your previous job, I wish you all the very best Madeline 😊👍 Hopefully you will have a great time and a wonderful experience going ahead 🤞 I really hope that it all works out for you very well, have faith and believe in yourself, I am sure gradually, you will definitely do well. Once again, wish you all the very best Madeline 😊👍 Wish you all the success and you deserve the best 😊 May God bless you

@@MadelineElaineYT Yaaay this made my day! Sounds almost weird that I like your video's so much. It is very comforting to see a lot familiarity in your video's with my own life, with a healthy lifestyle (that I can personally work harder on myself), enjoying nature, cozy house vibes, similar diet and a similar job. Thanks madeleine!🤗🧡

Hello from the Philippines
How long are the lunch breaks?
Hi. Would you say you mostly work standing up or on walking on the treadmill ?
@MadelineElaineYT

I mostly work standing up! I probably use the walking pad for 1-3 hours max per day, and I do sit some of the time too 😊
The job search for QA is so difficult. Its a lot of competition out here
Are you doing automation? Or Manuel testing
After break, did you go back to the same company or how did you find a job?
How did you break into the QA world? I am trying to break into the field.
How much lunch break do you have to be able to fit a whole workout in it? 😀
I have a question: What websites do you use to find jobs in USA, specifically in Florida?
Hi do you mind letting me know what company this is? I am in the process of a career change and this is one I am looking into. I am entry level so no experience!
Hi Madeline, I just subscribed to your channel because I am thinking to switch career into QA. Can you work anywhere with this job? I mean move out from the US and live wherever you want?
Hi Madeline, how did you get into QA testing job, I have an IT background and I am taking coursed in QA trying to get into QA field, please suggest.

I know you can't disclose your company, but where can I find a company like yours that will train you from the ground up? I'm studying QA, but I'm getting close to joining a Bootcamp out of desperation to land that first job but I would like to avoid the cost if at all possible.

@@MadelineElaineYT I am sorry to hear about the mental health struggles. I hope you get the support you need and all will get better slowly! 🤗 sending you good vibes. Regarding the job situation i could say that, 6 months into the QA field, i can understand why some aspects from the daily activity didn't feel suitable for you. I have the same feeling. But as you said latley, it's a matter of mindset and how you choose to look at the situation ☺️
