Planning on an E7 with a custom desktop made with Maple from a local lumberyard (2 24”x24”x1 1/2” blocks that’ll get glued and joined together using Cherry dovetails, matte-satin finish). I am so stoked for this desk and hoping i’ll have it done by Fall.

Ah, piss! I don't think I'd have this on my 'Corsair RM850 2021 850W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - White' (phew!!!) PSU, purchased a couple of years ago. But, it looks like the 4070 GPU I'm looking at has this. I think it comes with an adapter cable. Could I buy a cable to run from PSU to GPU I wonder? The cables on my PSU are white.

I learned about this issue too late after having one go out on me. Real learning experience about redundant backup.. but I've now updated all the other 990s I'm running and will probably be avoiding Samsung products going forward

not sure how that's possible, i'm getting 7334 MBps on Samsung Magician, download that software and run the benchmark. It's Samsung's proprietary hard drive software and it's really handy, it will also keep your drive's firmware up to date. I would also suggest moving your to the m.2 slot closest to your cpu but even on the other slots you shouldn't be getting write speeds that low regardless. Did you mean 4776 instead of 476 perhaps? Was that a typo?

@@Pingaheimer unfortunately I'm not kidding, although it seems to be motherboard and CPU related. I'm using an ASUS ROG dark hero with a 9914-900K and I have had nothing but problem since switching to Intel from AMD. Probably why the motherboard I purchased is $450 off MSRP right now

If ppi is what you're looking for, 27 inch and 1440 is my preferred setup. My little brother has a 1080p and it's awful, my gf has 4k and it's just unnecessary

I test them, film from home , write my review, bring it to the office for B-roll and put them back in the box if they need to be inventoried, film the video, edit, post and if I like them, Ibring them back home for personal use. I have an 11900kf now in 2024. Just for the heck of it, I thought I would boost my spirits and see what user benchmark how to say about 11900kf vs 5800x3d--- it gave them the same score with 11900kf having 5% better avg. performance... Yeah, in my freaking dreams😂😂😂 Like giving false misleading information like this, who does this even help?

Still though! At 1440p or even 1080, the 11900kf is a god. It's actually the CPU I use at the office! ( I don't choose my PC but I can't complain about the 11900k!)

Have you tried the Gamakay Pegasus? I believe they came out at the same time as the Phoenix and are the tactile silent equivalent.

I have the gammakay phoenixes.. and they are quite possibly the loudest silent switch I have ever tried. If you want absolute quiet, check out the outemu honey peaches. They're a little mushier than the phoenixes.. but SOOO much more quiet. If you want quiet with a better bottom out feel, then you should try the Wuque Studios WS silent linears.. which are quieter than the phoenix's.. and feel better bottoming out.

If you have an RTX graphics card just use Nvidia Broadcaster's noise canceling. No background noise. For. Improved EQ use VoiceMeter as well. Much improves the fullness.

firmware update fixed this problem on the 990 and 980 pro samsung nvme ssd this was caused by a bad firmware which is now fixed
