Hi, my name is Carmijn and my artist name is Red Leaf Hill. On this KZread channel, I share our journey on the island Andøya in Northern Norway
In the spring of 2022, I moved with my family from the Netherlands to Northern Norway to start a life close to nature.
Between steep mountains and deep Fjords I quickly learned living in nature is both hard work and awe-inspiring.
We bought a small Norwegian farmhouse which has to be totally renovated from in and outside.
On this channel, I share about renovating, gardening, cooking, family life, music, and more..

It's nice to see a happy family living in such a beautiful setting. There's a lot of work to be done, but it's worth it. I remember rhubarb from my early childhood; I used to eat it raw.🌲

The bottled rhubarb syrup is absolutely beautiful (and I'm sure it's delicious too). There is nothing like the color of rhubarb. Splendid!

The house came out truly beautiful. So very cozy. Love the shots of Nordkapp sailing past and under the bridge, while your son watched -- we sailed that very spot on the Nordlys in Dec 2022.
Your videos are beautiful and your children are precious. I instantly recognized the Hurtigruten Museum because we've been there! We visited it during our 11 night coastal sailing on Hurtigruten's Nordlys in mid-December 2022. We loved that journey: the towns we visited, the vistas and landscapes, and the wonderful people we met everywhere we went. It was part a full month (December) which we spent in Norway, Denmark and Sweden (but mostly Norway) -- a trip that holds a very special place in our hearts and minds.
