Gopro is a shitty camera , DJI action cameras are the only action cameras worth buying .
From the Hero 8 to the Hero 11, GoPro suffered from overheating problems. All this time GoPro refused to do anything about it and now it's too late. And also GoPro has done absolutely nothing in terms of innovation. Other brands such as DJI and Insta360 innovated, which led to many people switching.
I still own a Hero 9 since it's the last stable cam GoPro produced. Each additional model started crashing during recording, was not a single bit more responsive and video quality improvements where negligible. - bright light issue noone talks about - but the minimum exposure time is way too high. Without an ND-Filter you're lost (and Insta plays this one hardly out to their advantage) - dynamic range no longer on par with Action 4 and Ace Pro - low light no longer on par - app is a joke - minimal features, instead consistant blah about cloud shit nobody uses. - fastest overheating cam - still good color science but way too warm and no details in dark areas - no longer on par with the action 4's flat color profiles GoPro is also no longer the market leader. Nearly no youtuber uses a GoPro nowadays. The Insta 360 x3 already started taking a big chunk of their market share despite visibly lower image quality - simply because reframing, responsiveness and a camera that won't crash in the middle of your once-of-a-lifetime shot have proven way more important. With the Ace Pro and and the Action 4 out for quite a while now, all GoPro has left to offer is one desperate mailing after another with surprisingly poor deals. That Hero 13 better knocks us off our chairs or GoPro is done. And given the arrogance and ignorance of their CEO, most won't even be sorry about it.

There is no point in adding resolution. Most owners of this type of camera view their photos on a Full HD screen of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This is already more than enough for a 12 Mpx sensor. Nikon blinds us with its marketing and everyone, you dive in. However, what would be useful is some built-in sensor cleaning in addition to stabilization. Nikon would do better to produce fixed and affordable lenses

I stand behind you on this. One-inch sensor is going to be a killer and a linear lens (instead of digital/crop). I did not upgrade to GoPro 12 as it has the same spec as 11 (I did from 7 to 8 to 9 to 10 and 11 but NOT 12).

Blah, blah, blah. If it doesn't have high pixels its still a basic results. Here we go again. What every the specification are, you can bet they're be underwhelming. Especially since they claimed revolutionary specs 3 years ago. How revolutionary can they be at this point. Had it come out originally, it would be just about time to renew it. Making those early spec claims, now a generation old.
Today's scenario warrants every Nikon user to have two bodies. A FX & a DX to suit as backup body... Most of the user's want a hybrid body which could do both Photography and Videography.... Those who are into high end content creation will opt for higher end FX bodies like Z9 and Z8, Those who are into Wedding segment will prefer Z6iii ,Z7ii types of bodies.... This leaves scope and market wide open for Pro & Semi Pro APSc bodies for segment like Sport's Wildlife Action photography.... Hence it wouldn't be surprising if Nikon now consolidates it's APSc Z series by launching Z 80 to replace D7xxx series with either 24 or 26 MP BSI APSc sensor. And Z90 to replace D500 with 33MP APSc Partially Stacked sensor terming it as Pro APSc body suited for action sport's and wildlife..... They already have bodies & technology in which they can put in their required hardware and electronics..... Let's hope to see the best from Nikon before the end of the year 2024....
