It's not Canon spreading the rumours it's KZread channels like this. Cheap, easy content which they can make money from, churned out daily and mostly by the same person. They should be banned.

Sony will give away their old sensors to other brands after around 2 years. Nothing new it's a7iv sensor. 😊

Canon designs and manufactures their own sensors. So, no… Even brands that use Sony sensors like Nikon, they are designed by Nikon, Sony in that case is just a manufacturer.
