Why would a low budget camera ever have better specs than a $6900 flagship camera. Asisine

I bought the R7 when it was released, specifically for wildlife photography and although its a great camera, some modifications to a EOS R7 Mark II, could make this a much more favourable camera choice for many wildlife & sports photographers. The buffer speed could be improved by utilising a stacked sensor along with upgrading to a CF Express card. An improved EVF in line to that of the R6 Mark II would also be a welcome upgrade. For me the current 32.5 MP sensor and the shooting burst rate of 30fps are already good enough. The other feature would be have a battery grip option which would give the photographer "piece of mind", when shooting either wildlife or sports (I never understood why this was not available for the current EOS R7 !!!). A camera of this design would certainly capture a major share of the APS-C market against its rivals such as Fuji.

I have had an R7 for a little over 6 months now and really all I would want for a mkII is better autofocus and faster sensor, as long as they dont go lower than the current 32.5MP, even if the maximum speed for electronic was 20-25fps but had almost no worrying about rolling shutter I would feel so much better using it! at the moment my camera basically lives on electronic first curtain unless im shooting macro

My first mirrorless camera was the R5. Had it for a year and it definitely had some strong points. But being a FF camera, I almost never had enough reach, even with an 800mm lens. Almost 2 yrs ago I “upgraded” to the R7. I actually bought two of them as I needed a backup. I love / hate my R7’s. I’ve taken nearly 300K photos with them. When I get everything right, they can do a fine job. They do need a grip. I mean, if the Mk II got only the “same battery life” having two batteries would double it, and that would be great. It also needs a much faster readout speed to prevent rolling shutter, and if this could be addressed, they could just leave off the mechanical shutter altogether. It also needs a bigger buffer. Although the focusing “can be pretty darn good” any improvements, especially in low light, would be welcome. 32mp is fine. I’d be okay with 35 or 40, but not if it cost anything in image quality, and low light performance. I just hope when they finally make it, that they can get enough of them out, in a reasonable time. Canon has completely dropped the ball on the 200-800 8 months later, and it’s still on a massive back order ☹️ Btw, why do these videos use a fake AI voice ? Do human beings actually have that hard a time reading and talking for a short video ???

It seems now canon still focusing on "pro" photographer camera,, i hope canon not forget about some of those beginner and some "low budget" photographer, who always (most often) choosing canon to the start for their career as a photographer (look back in rebel era)

this video is full of outdated info. For example: the R1 will be 24 and not 30 Mp.
