Nothing secretive about that second place. Its North West Cape in Exmouth Western Australia. Its just a Very low frequency transmitter designed to communicate with submarines under the sea. Its callsign is NWC and it transmits on 19.8Khz which is at the lower end of the VLF range and at the upper end of the audio range. it has a very high power so if a plane was to get very close it can affect the electronics on board. It needs to be on this low frequency to penetrate the water and because of the low frequency it needs to be very long (tall in this case) Anybody with a vlf receiver and a suitable antenna receive it. The transmitted data is encrypted of course.

This would've been far better if they discussed initiatives to help them and how to help them. I think the way the government in general deals with the subject, and the messaging a lot of the more popular talking heads are just not appropriate. Not enforcing drug laws doesn't work and throwing them in prison for so long they forget how to be human also doesn't help anything. And neither does going around filming them like this help anything if you're not using it as emotional shock to get people to donate to homeless aid or vote for initiatives to help people. We need social workers and therapy for them, not prison. And we need financial assistance, job training, job aquisition assistance, and teaching them how to properly manage their finances not more drugs.

But characterising it all as an American project intended to plunder the corpse of the Russian empire is just insulting. We're our own people too.
