Clearly Canadians have a completely different idea of what tater tots are than people in the U.S. have.
How so ? Please explain.
@@TheAverageKitchen Here they are basically like hashed brown potatoes made into small cylinders and deep fried. Wikipedia has an entry for tater tots which shows a picture of them. When I was in school, they fed us a lot of them lol.
My first impression was, “What have those crazy Ninja engineers cooked up now?” Gotta love em. I simply can’t have enough cooking gadgets. Unfortunately, cuz I love Ninja stuff, I don’t need this configuration. I’m still using the Ninja Double Oven. 😊
Don't blame you! - J
What is app called for recipes
Instant Connect I think? - J
If you add just a little bit of olive oil in the bottom of the pot, then ad your rice and give it a stir for about 20 seconds, you’ll have zero issues with rice stuck to the stainless steel pot. Same with the chicken burrito bowl.
Good tip thanks. Marc
Unfortunate that the only options are unsweetened or artificially sweetened. I was initially interested in checking this out but the artificial sweetener is a no-go for me and unlike the sodastream you can't even use any other syrups besides what Ninja markets.
Great point! We'll have to check out a SodaStream. - J
Im not surprised, I sold the side by side one because it didn’t work
Thanks for watching. Marc
Great video guys! Will one of you be using this regularly for a few months then doing an updated review? Thank you for doing this for us!
That’s the plan ! Marc
I’ve bought all the ninja air fryers and this one is by far my favorite. FYI pitch those racks. I need for them. Got mine for $179 Walmart. Good price.
Awesome !! Marc
I don't understand the reason they made it vertical unless they did it to save space. The way they made it, the surface that hits the air is much smaller than a normal horizontal machine. They will do anything for sales, but at the end of the day, the original design is the best. keel up the good work guys
We totally agree ! Marc
Hi guys. Those are crinkle beans😂😂😂
Haha absolutely!! Marc
Well that’s saved me some money … I almost bought one 😂
😂😂
Love the fact seeing Aussie companies storming the kitchen appliances globally
Absolutely!! Super high quality! 🇦🇺 oi oi oi. Marc
My husband gave me this as a gift and I love it!!!
That's great! - J
This thing has been slated on almost all KZread reviews I’ve seen. It can be prone to cook very unevenly. Personally I only find air fryers are good for cooking frozen processed food like fries and nuggets. $412 for that thing is crazy. Great video as always boys. 🇬🇧
I totally agree Mark !! Thanks for the ongoing support. Cheers 🍻. Marc

Try baked peppers... red/orange bell peppers, push in garlic, anchovies and tomatoes, a good glug of olive oil. Air fry 170 for 20 mins then add more tomatoes and a splash of balsamic or red wine vinegar and bake another 10 mins or so. Works fabulously well. I think eggplant and fennel also work well in an air fryer sliced with a good glug of olive oil.
Sounds awesome !!! Marc
I won't be buying it at the price it sells for.
Don't blame you! - J
Crispy is the way to go who would want soggy fries or nuggets 😊
We TOTALLY agree !!! Marc
Thanks for suffering through that. Great review, as always I have the Ninja side-by-side dual. I now know I do NOT need to replace it!
Thanks so much! Glad we could help! - J
I’m glad you reviewed this product. I will be purchasing it but I’ll wait for a sale.
Smart, it’s definitely going to drop in price once the hype slows down. Marc
I think I'll stick to my Instant - Vortex Slim and Cosori airfryer ☺
👍🏼👍🏼
As I've indicated in a previous video, I was looking to purchase a new air fryer , I believe that this is the perfect fit for us... thank you for the great review.
Thanks for watching and the comments !! Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen , after watching this video, I looked online for the best price in Canada... and Best Buy had it on sale for $299.98 + tax came to$344.00...sale ended July 7 '24, . will be using it likely at supper time... thanks again for the great review... be blessed always.
@IrishStock3 ahhhh ok good to know !! Marc
Thank you for doing this video, I was going to get this but I’m not now. Thank you for all you guys do! 😊
For the price. And the height, I wouldn’t buy it. But it did function well. Thanks for watching !! Marc
Thanks for the video. Will stick to my cosori air fryer
Thanks for watching! - J
I was thinking of purchasing a new air fryer, and this might have been the one but, after having watched your show... I'm going to forego this product...as it is not a good fit for us.
Glad we could help! - J
Maybe it sounded different because only one of the baskets was running when it did that?
I don't believe so. We did another test with just one basket and it didn't sound like that. It sounded like the fans basically stopped. It might do that on purpose though to be fair, not sure. - J
@@TheAverageKitchen it could also be that it does it to try to maintain a consistent temperature.
Thank you for this review. Always love your vids. Any plans to review the NInja Combi?
Thanks so much! We actually did review the Combi, check it out! ➡️kzread.info/dash/bejne/lZlnyJKQicvLZc4.html - J
I’ve been wondering how this one was going to work . Thanks guys for showing me this video .. I don’t think I like it that much , I have a galley kitchen and no place to put it . I’ll stick with what I have . Thanks again , take care ❤️
Glad we could help! - J
Been waiting for this! Thanks so much for reviewing it!
Glad we could help! - J
I just got my Blendtec today and my Wildside jar bearing is LOUD, it sounds like grinding. What a bummer.
Return or exchange it ? Marc
Sucks! Absolutely sucks. Stopped working onnme a few months in not to mention its ridiculously stupid tobget tobwork sometimes
Yup. We also hated it. Marc
How much does it weigh please?
The unit ?
Why not strain the Ninja Foodi Mega Kitchen System (2 horsepower 1500 watts) to save time and money?
Not too sure? - J
You need to follow the instructions for how to cook bagels in this unit. (Put cut side up and leave it up, and for 2 halves, you need to select "2", not "1".)
Pretty sure I can select whatever setting I desire. Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen I mentioned this because you're reviewing the product without following the instructions. No insult intended. Just a suggestion.
No prob. But the bagel setting has a range. So choosing level 1 is not a reflection of “not following instructions “. Thanks for watching and the comment. Marc
Hi. You’re supposed to use the tamper WHILE the motor is running. Lots of user errors here. If you’re going to review it as a rookie, you should probably do a follow-up review after you’ve read the manual/watched tutorials and learned to use the machine the way it’s intended to be.
👍
I live in a very tiny studio with limited counter space, but I had room for a dedicated space for small Ikea Island and the Ninja fits well on it. I also bought the cutting board to place top of the unit and that gives me space to place cooked food taken from the oven. Love it!!!!!
Great idea! Thanks for watching! - J
The stand could be better a couple of fold out shelves tool hooks are a waste of space
Agreed. - J
Omg this is agonizing to watch. Dude you're supposed to use the tamper! OMG, really??? Lol. To be honest with you this review should be erased because it is based falsely on just not understanding the product. This is a very misleading false advertisement of how to use this. He should probably change the title to how not to use a Vitamix. Then this video would make more sense. Because this is probably the worst Vitamix review I've ever seen.
It's not an advertisement at all, false or otherwise. Thanks for watching. - J
So let me get this straight, you take recipes, put it into a container freeze it, then blend it. Am I missing anything, or this just a glorified, overpriced blender. Please let me know, because I can’t tell the difference
Not exactly blending it, but yes that's right. Thanks for watching! - J
In the UK the heater element on the Speedi is locked behind a grate so you can't even light clean it :( i think the Combi is good with the glass and front loading, just needs a deeper Speedi pan rather than the two separate ones. Does the Speedi pan fit in the Combi???
We haven't tried that! Good question. I would suspect not though. - J
I live in Los Banos Calif....i know i kmow😂😅😂😅
I've been to Cali! But only to LAX lol. Thanks for watching! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen You're Welcome. Great video
🤙
NO temperature control is a deal-breaker for me. My old grill had that - plus removable plates.
Agreed! Among other issues. - J
Thanks for video!!!!!! Trying mine today
Let us know how you like it. Marc
Scarily dangerous cutting technique
Just a guy, not a chef. Thanks for watching! - J
Solid review. It made me pull the trigger and you are right, that salsa recipe is really good.
Let us know how you like the product !! Marc
People just READ the DIRECTIONS........so you don't look like you don't know what you doing.😅
WE will in the FUTURE. MARC
Hi don't use aliminium foil it's not healthy ❤
How so ? Marc
What Breville do you have!? Awesome video.
Check it out here! ➡️kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y4SJtdiBZ9yTY5M.html - J
You don’t suppose to put the ice in first, Ice is last to go in…
Thanks for the tip! - J
Lol! "So, here is my mukbang !"
Lol. Thanks for watching! - J
I had a 700.00 green life cold press and leafy greens still juiced best by alternating apple or cucumber along with it. I have an omega now and I still put a lot of time preparing and cut into smaller portions, why make your juicer work so hard. They will last a lot longer. I put music on and enjoy the time…
Good tip! - J
