Jamie... have you tryed to bake a cake or muffins? I have the ninja XL indoor grill, and I don't know if there's a difference in performance between those two for air frying or baking, since my indoor grill gets up to 500F 😃. Thanks!

We've tried making doughnuts in the dual basket air fryer, which actually turned out really good. I haven't tried any other baking but I would imagine it would actually turn out pretty good. - J

I'm new to the ninja products, but I feel like they partake in false advertising. I bought the Foodie XL Grill model DG551. It is so not smokeless. I had issue from first use this setting off my smoke detector and my place being filled with smoke. Ninja said must be something wrong with mine. They sent a replacement and the same thing happens. If I use the grill feature or the air fryer. Only thing that reduces it is using manual functions on lower heat. Cant use the grill with the thermometer or the air fryer. Cant air fry at 390 or i have to non stop hit the smoke detector. I even bought an air Purifier to run under the detector while cooking, and that did nothing. Not happy with this product at all

@@TheAverageKitchen Interesting reply for a testing channel. It's easy enough to test without even going through the cooking process. Many possible procedure options. Using two large mixing bowls to jumble things up. Less than 60 seconds I'd predict. Likely less than 30 with development. 45 seconds for the wings on your video.

Yeah that is some bs marketing. At this point, the oven would be faster and way more practical. But hey, whatever sells units i guess. Just bought the dual zone ninja and i will certainly try to limit the crazyness 🤣
