Heyyyy, my name is Hakima, I’m 22 years old and I'm from NYC. I created this channel because I wanted there to be even more REAL and honest 4c content out there. When I first went natural I was lost until I found Chizi Duru, Nappy Fu and other creators I love. Now I want to share everything I have learned and every step of my own natural hair journey with all of you! Dense 4c hair in particular can feel impossible to care for but I want to share how I've learned to manage it with those of you who also have very dense/dry/thick 4c hair because we don't see enough of that either and it can be really discouraging. On this channel you can expect tutorials, reviews, tips, demos and also beauty content such as skin care and makeup. In the future I want to do more vlogs and traveling once this pandemic is over. New videos every week!

new subbie✋🏾 great method... any recent videos?
Hey Sis, I use that product too and he recommends using it with really wet hair in the shower preferably. You can squeeze excess out just a little before leaving the shower. If you try it that way I believe you will experience the slip you want. Also matting is a result of dehydration, not wetting the hair enough. If you go and watch his videos he demonstrates how to use his products and lots of information for your hair. You will be amazed at the nuggets he shares. Thank you for sharing, Happy hair growing.
Malia Obama is that You! ❤❤❤
Lmaoo yes🤣
what would be good for detangling? i have the exact same hair as you!!
Always detangle with water and conditioner (I like anut jackies rn) on your hair and try using a large afro pick to avoid breakage :)
@@hakimaalem so what shampoo should i use too x
You’re so pretty✨✨ p.s I relate to that feeling after you take of the cap and you don’t even know where to start 😭😭😭
Thank you!
I’m Hakima also This style turned out great
Just going through ur videos....I legit have a similar routine except, I seal each twist w/ coconut oil after using the hair butter. Once complete, I oil my scalp.
Ur hair is so pretty!! What's your hair type?
“4c” or super kinky
Natural hair is beautiful!

The density 😍😍😍😍
I’ve heard that Tgin isn’t really a good product cuz they have some ingredients that can damage the hair but the positive thing is it make ur hair look good but as I said it has some bad ingredients is that true?
Is it just me but when I blow dry my 4c hair it makes such a mess!!
Every time I do my hair 😂
I bought a revair- could never master the blow dryer
Great information! Your afro puff is beautiful on you!
This is a wonderful teaching video! I have “4C” hair. You did a great job! I manage my own hair and would definitely incorporate your methods into my routine! Excellent! Thanks!!
I love your honesty.
Cute. The only con to this hair is the curl not holding up. Other than that I love my clip ins.
Can I wash it?
Yes but focus on the tracks and the wig cap

Red by Kiss handless dryer

I have mine in and love them. I dyed mine light blonde
Oh wow didn’t know u could dye them
@@hakimaalem yup. I used bleach. just use a slow lifter until you get the blonde you like. Also, once it turns blond you can add a color on top. I love mine.
@@hakimaalem i changed my profile picture to the color i dyed it to so you can see
It’s nice to see someone with my hair type! Subscribed
