How I healed my sore scalp (4c hair) No soreness, bumps, itch, flakes or tight styles!

Hey guys, in this video I am sharing how I healed my scalp from pain, bumps and soreness. I had to learn the hard way that your scalp NEEDS a break sometimes and my styles should never be tight. Cleansing properly is also something I had to step up because a dirty scalp can be a painful scalp. I hope this helps!

Some scalp sensitivity is due to your scalp being oily. I learned that I have an oily scalp and as soon as I stopped using oil directly on my scalp, the issues faded. I always make a point to keep my scalp as clean as possible and only use oils on my hair.

Wow I had the same problem and yes for many years natural. I am 4b 4c. It was going on so long it seemed normal and I lost a lot of hair at the crown, so good for you catching it in time. I think the tenderness is inflammation.... Once I used weekly hair mask herbs like Brahmi and Amla the inflammation went away fast. Then I had to deal with the itchiness. So I washed my scalp EVERY DAY with sulfate free shampoo (yes, screw what the rules say)... and now my scalp feels like ...skin! It's so normal now and my hair did not fall out from washing it 😂😂

I have Amla but I need Brahmi. Thanks for the tip. I developed serious scalp psoriasis at 50 years old. Never had issues except I became allergic to PPD and resorcinol in hair dye gradually until I can not use it at all. I have to use scalpicin when I have flare ups. I need a more natural alternative. Stress diet also flare up my scalp. I don’t like it. I will lose tons of hair as well. It grows back until a major flare up. Looks like my hair is breaking at the crown but it’s not. I too have to wash my hair every other day. My scalp will get angry by the minute if I think I can stretch it another day. Prepoos help.

Thanks so much for sharing, I have been natural for 5-6 years but until this day my scalp health was never good and I didn’t realize why, I thought maybe it was permanent relaxer damage from my childhood, my scalp always hurts, is always irritated so I’m waiting for these braids to come out so that I can finally tend to my scalp and get her to optimal health!
