Thank you for showing from the natural state , many tutorials start from an already blown out or almost blown out state. Also how long does the stretch last during the day?

No problem!! The stretch typically lasts all day unless the weather is humid. My afro does shrink as the days go by since I spritz water or a leave in spray to keep it hydrated as needed. Other than that, I maintain the stretch by sliding my hair into a loose high puff at night. I hope this helps 💕💕

I use hair tongs and a Keratin hair kit to stretch my 4c bushy hair! I miss my old hair, I tried to dye my terrible Hot roots black, don't like grey hair! Now I use hair dyes & black hair wax, Schwarzkopf Live hair dye is the best moisturising hair dye for Afro hair! Dry hair ladies, get FUDGE Seal & Armor, from Time Machine Fudge hair range, its one of the best hair treatment range ever! SEAL & ARMOR 500ML REALLY repairs dry Afro hair, its a deep reconstructor and smoothes split ends and 500ml lasts ages. Locs & plaits girls, natty head and kids tangled hair add some Fudge Time Machine hair treatment before you add or take out plaits, saves you 2+ hours, knotty hair just loosens! Does this method work on short 4c hair? I did the big chop a year ago and my hair growth has been pretty good and now I can do Afros but I still don’t know how to stretch my hair properly

Hello there. I band or pineapple it at night and fluff it out in the mornings so it stays stretched all week for the most part. I’m definitely about to keep it stretched until the next wash day…weather permitting of course. ♥️

Does it shrink back the next day after waking up?

It could be if you use an anti-humidity spray or serum of some sort but if not, it will definitely shrink if there’s moisture in the air.

It is good for an afro look, but i didn't see any detangling. I have to be able to at least afro pick my hair before any style.✌🏾
