THANK YOU for the realness from the start...beginning in your thumbnail. Makes me now wonder how many YT "influensters" who post before/after pics claiming massive hair GROWTH when the change was ONLY from STRETCHING! You just saved us from falling for future clickbait or buying these tricks' product lines. Thank you again for caring enough to educate.

That's the only reason I haven't done heat stretching ever; I don't want to chance heat damage. But the look is so 😍. However the banding method gets me right and sometimes I rock the shrunken look cause its badass anyway lol

Looks beautiful 😻 From a professional standpoint ladies and gents, if you’re seeking a specific shape, it’s best to have it cut while in its curliest state. Cutting while stretched is best for those who wear their hair that way 80% of the time.

Wow, Thank You. This was really helpful. For a few weeks now I kept going back and forth on whether or not to do a wash and go. I have been wearing wigs for a few months now but I must admit that wearing wigs have made me really lazy. I don't wash and take care of my natural hair like I used to. After my mom passed away last year, I stopped doing anything for myself. I think I could use a little self-love right now. Thank you for making this video. It really made my day.

Thank you for this!! Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy because my wash and go results will be more stretched one week compared to the next and I don't know how to control it. Sometimes it has me doubting the growth that I swear was there the week before. I get that maybe I should alternate this method with heatless stretching options but this one is a great one to have in your back pocket when you need it!

Love your night time routine! I'm go na start trying that! The pineapple method never worked for me and throwing a scarf on my edges and a bonnet over top just leaves me curls soooooo flat and its annoying to reshape every single day. Thanks for the tips. I normally do banding method to stretch, but it takes 2 days. 1 for drying, then 2nd night i stretch... but your method can be done in one day if I use a diffuser to stretch my hair.

When I stretch my hair with heat it shrinks back up a few hrs later. The banding method works a little better for my hair. I wonder if i heat stretch & band it would last longer? Beautiful results as always love the whole look!! 💕

Get it sis! I think I may go back to the double stretch method soon, or just the first method on day 1, and band throughout the week. Idk lol
