  A critique from me...tone down the background music just a bit, but not while it's actually in the background. The transitionary periods between you talking are what I mean here. While you're talking it's fine but it ramps up quite a bit when you aren't :). My two cents. But to be fair this is the first one I've watched so maybe this doesn't happen in other vids. Subbed, love the tour, the information given is presented well, amazing house.

  Thanks for watching! The main reason for the cost of homes like these is location. The closer you get to the city center, the more expensive the land will be. The cost of the dirt will always dictate the price of a home. Your home could be $878K, but the lot might have been more economical. Would guess this builder paid close to $1M for that plot of land. Factor in inflation, material, and labor costs, and you can see how the price begins to edge upwards.

  Thanks for watching. I have to say homes like these aren't going to be for everyone. It's why I, and most creators, try to preview different homes and styles at different price points around the cities and states where we work. What you dislike might be someone else's dream home. But no opinion is excluded here. Hopefully, I will showcase something in the future that fits your pallette.

  Lovely home. The only thing I would change is all of the gold finishings to chrome/silver, switch out a couple of the light fixtures, and add an elevator, threater room, gym, sauna and move the AC unit, placing housing around it. I would probably switch out the wood later down the line.

  Thanks for watching, Theodore. Land is at a premium the closer you get to Uptown CLT, so you are going to know your neighbors very well. The price of the dirt determines the cost of the house. There are certainly more economical options a little further out. Appreciate the comment.

  Love it! Nice lot size - rear. Cape Dutch infrastructure 🔥 Coziness exudes throughout the home. Love the floating shelves in kitchen and the large hood. Never seen separate freezer & refrigerator like this. Restaurant style 😊 Large shower in primary suite is 🔥. Love the idea of closing in the study area into a coffee bar (butlers pantry) for guests. The media room is nice and the outdoor living space. Beautiful! You were a great tour guide as always 👍🏽.

  Truly wish that the case, Reesie but location of the dirt always dictates the value of the home. This one happens to be just minutes from Uptown CLT and in quite the desirable area. People will pay for that. Not to mention, most who can afford these sorts of homes probably have a bit more saved away for rainy days.

  @@roderickstephenllc I recently moved back to VA from the Concord area. I like Charlotte. Yes I agree that Charlotte is a hot area. It is so crowded there. I'm glad I moved back to VA. The traffic is horrible.

  Congrats on your move! And I don't disagree on either point. Yes, CLT is a hot real estate market. And yes, the traffic can leave a bit to be desired in certain areas. The thing is, though, folks will continue to move to NC and the Metro in particular. It's just a desirable city.

  Wish that were true, Raegan, but RE is all about location. And that's no matter what state or major market you're in. This home is huge and close to Uptown CLT. Many people are willing to pay a premium for that scenario.

  Hi Lisa, sounds like your heart is set on the coast 🌅. Id imagine it would be difficult (but not impossible) to find this sort of architecture near the beach. It all depends on budget.
