The first picture was a American soldier, look at the thompson gun he lay down to the surface. He talk and hanging around with the locals, i wonder how they communicate each other ?

I really sometimes think how much of chaos the monuments and buildings around the world have seen . The change of governance and downfall of empires.. and the general lifestyle changes of human lives. If they were living and could talk, what a story they would tell us ... !

This picture say anything without voice. It feels if this picture was related to our days now. When we feel peace, but in reality there are cruelty between them. I hope the world gets better and better, to make a better future in humanity lives, we dont have to be friend, just talk and go, we never met again in this life but remember theres also important to carry "Humanity Above All"

Terrible suffering. Those soldiers were probably pressed into the army. I read that a lot of skeletons was used for blood and bone. Horrible time to be alive

Very soon it will be like in the 40s again.. You have multiple EU countries who have more immigrants than its own population. The Netherlands have more than 60% of migrants in their Major cities. London has more than 50%, Brussels has around 70% of migrants... and the list goes on.. In 10 years time we will have another major war in Europe. And who is going to fight the war this time? The americans who can`t figure out what a woman is, or how many genders are there? Or the Dutch,German,Belgians, Scandinavians who have become so liberal and pacifistic and of course gay, that you can`t handel anything. You are going to be overrun by immigrants. Particularly muslims. Slavs will have to fight your wars against the muslims AGAIN! We kept the Ottomans at bay for centuries while you flourished and enjoyed prosperity. And now you call us cavemen and violent. There is still maybe some time left to prevent thewar by deporting immigrants and preventing more from coming. Implementing new strict laws etc. but non of that is going to happen because you have weak woke leaders. God help you all.

I watched this because my grandmother's cousin Pvt.Howard A. Phillips was in the 506th and he was killed in France on June 6,1944. His name was omitted from the list at the end of the documentary. His name is on a memorial in Magneville, Basse-Normandie, France. A Frenchman found his wallet which was burned badly and damaged on the outside of the leather and turned it in to the U.S. Army officials. He was born on April 7, 1923. He was 21 years old when he was killed. He was married but had no children. He is on Findagrave. His body was not found. A grave marker was put up for him in Aragon, Georgia.

I am always amazed at the now pictures and what a beautiful restoration was done to these cities. Instead of tearing down and rebuilding, most of the buildings were restored and made to look like they did before the war.

A lot happened where i live. My house got build right after the war because this whole neighborhood was bombed to the ground. Sometimes i think about what it was like before and during that time in the places i walk everyday. in certain areas i can actually still feel some of that heavy energy. Its almost like time stopped there
