What would you recommend for lining a light jersey knit tank dress. I think I will finish the neck and armholes with binding.
You can get lining fabric that has stretch, but easier to find is stretch mesh or even more jersey. Just make sure it's not stretchier than your jersey or it could hang oddly (cut a few inches shorter than you hem to help avoid any peekaboos!) ~J

My girls and I are so excited to try this new pattern!! We also appreciate the great variety of online places to shop for swim fabric as the local box stores only offer 1 or 2 choices. With 3 teen girls and mama all having different body styles and shapes we’re looking forward to being able to customize our suits without compromising modest coverage and with the fabric choices you’ve offered we won’t look like the Von Trapp family in The Sound of Music when we go to the pool!! I recently branched out to sew a different swim top pattern… and the fit is wrong. I’m so excited Love Notions put out this swim pattern. The fit on LN patterns is always better for me. Now I need more swim fabric to make a new one.

Making these suits will allow me to cover my bust. It is hard to find a cup size to fit in ready made.

I've only made swim for my grandsons using nylon lycra bought from JoAnn. I got the Clearwater pattern for the versatility and mix and match options. Also love the full coverage of the swimwear. On my list to sew for, other than myself, is for my 77 y/o mother who is petite and has a hard time finding a suit that fits her well and comfortably. I am excited to make pieces from the Clearwater pattern. Just need to get some swim fabrics and notions.
