Hey Im trying to build this. Ive look between your screenshots and the pdf you shared but I dont see where it mentions the angles of the cuts. Can you point that out for me or list the angles of the cuts?

Quick heat with torch and pb blaster will get out screws as well may take 3 or 4 tries just don't strip the screws. Not that I'm disassembling a window as I watch this. Ps polishing a 50 yr old jalousie window sucks alot !!! Damn nooks and crannies

Question on the lower sliding door track replacement. Is it really necessary to remove the upper track/guide from the floor? I have the same replacement panels that you show here but just wondering if it would be easier to leave the upper track in place?

Just bought our 1st bus today as a father son learning experience that looks like it’s in about the same shape as yours was, though we got it for a grand so not a lot to loose I still kind of got the heaves that were not going to be able to pull this off, but these videos give me hope!

That's not a rotisserie, a rotisserie rotates around a central axis, you have a rollover jig, that (as the name suggests!!) rolls over......😁

Depending on how made up you are about this, Just Kampers do full engine rebuilds for about half of what you quoted here. It comes as a full engine you can just pop in. Fixing the type 4 engine in future will be far easier than the subaru one and it won't lose your classic car status (i'm not sure how it works in the US, but in the UK that means no tax or MOT required)

Found your channel a few days ago and watched all of your restoration videos. Love it. I'm in the UK. I've got a 1979 Bay Window Westfaia Berlin Deluxe. It's a Californian import it was imported and painted in 2007. I bought it in 2009 and fully restored it in 2010. It's starting to look a bit tired now with a few rust patches. Your skills have inspired me to tackle mine. First, I need to have a clear out of my garage and get it inside. It currently lives outside 🙈

Great video!!! I have the same year and I’m going through the process. Where are u sourcing all the body metal? Also is there a body metal map that shows all the metal pieces in an exploded view? Thanks

Iam repairing a 1996 dodge dakota 4x4 that slipped into reverse while idling ,well it ran down hill and went about 100 yards and jumped my neighbors driveway then hit a pine tree well it kinda bent the passenger side rear quarter panel in after hitting the bumper..if it was a newer truck it would of really been major but this truck is made of 16 guage steel really tough..I took a chain a tractor and pulled out alot of it. But I very never done Body work before. I love this truck ext cab 4x4 318 shell on back .but anyway love your channel you've really explained how your doing your vw bus and it seems like man you show me exactly what I need to do so thankyou

A rotisserie is a must for comfort doing the work, I have a 64 Crew Cab on one now and being able to rotate at will with one hand is a must, I can raise the rotisserie to rotate 360 degrees but i don't find it as comfortable as a little lower and rotate side to side. Of course, I am old and worn out myself.

Great achievement! I have a stock 1200 bug daily driver but I also got a scoobie ej16 with only 70k on it from a scrapyard closing down ten years ago but it has no alternator or wiring, it has the original injectors and manifold but no exhaust or clutch so I have chickened out going any further with it😢
