Grab a caulking cartridge nozzle and put the rope through it then run it along the rubber seal, works a treat ;)

Loved the content. we did a roof because of the front cargo tray of my riviera had accumulated trash and rusted thru to the door track. To keep the dimensions, we cut plywood squares in to three windows to set the height for the grafted roof. worked good.

I am in the lead up to a windshield install right now. I had no idea starting on the side was a thing! All the previous glass I've installed is flat glass and I usually start at the top or bottom. This curved bay windshield is a new challenge. Thanks for the tips!

Best way to experiment putting in any window is by using the damaged original first. Now your experienced. First time for everything. Keep up the great work on the restoration of your VW bus

Put your window seals in hot water b4 putting them in it will soften the rubber

Being in AutoGlass for 15 years. This was painful. I wanted to help so bad. As for your helper, always tap the glass behind the rope. Not in front where the flexing is happening. Nonetheless, awesome job. It’s all about the journey and having the balls to take on stuff on your own. Hope this comment helps the algorithm. Lol.

The foggy problem I have with mine is inside the lamination so it can’t be cleaned unfortunately 😞

my bus got hit with a golf ball on the highway, removed the factory windshield and got a fuyao to replace, have heard horror stories about the fitment and possibly needing the glass shaved, hope its a rare problem, praying that after i paint the repaired lip area i worked on that she goes in and doesn't crack!!!!!!
