    Hi , I have an issue when I'm doing a render, the pictures are blurred . It seems that UE doesn't take time to wait for a good resolution to record the still. Is there a solution to slow down the process of rendering ?

    We appreciate your feedback and wanted to clarify a few points: The performance shown here is definitely not what you should expect - characters should of course be firmly on the ground (did you open the take in Rokoko Studio? - I wonder if it looked better there where you can also edit the footlocks). The sun lines on the floor are our best bet (based on this video) of why it is looking off. We hope you’ll consider trying the dual-cam solution again in a different setting, as the data quality is actually mostly really solid. If you get a good result, try also seeing how it looks in Studio with the locomotion filter turned off. Sometimes that adds even more fluidity to the data. But it can be a trade-off with contact with the floor. Just to make one thing clear - we are doing some R&D around Vision solutions because we see a future there, and we are sharing what we are creating with all of you. That said, this isn’t a core investment area of ours (which is also why one solution is free (single-cam) and the other one (dual-cam) is only $20/month along with a bunch of other features. What we are hearing from our users is still that Vision solutions are great for learning and exploring, but that they opt for wearables when they actually have a production with higher stakes. That is also why we are still investing mostly in our hardware and are pushing some very exciting things on that front (hardware AND software) soon ☺ Hope you give it another go and see the quality that’s achievable under the right circumstances.

    Love the tutorial, its exactly what I was looking for! Question, though: How can I make the texture not rotate based on world position? Maybe I messed something up, but basically I want my lines to always run horizontal, but right now when I turn something (like a default cube) the texture rotates and streches out of scale. Thanks in advance! Btw, super, super new to game dev so it may be a really obvious solution, I'm trying my best! 😅

    Is there a maximum length of video filming with this app ? Yesterday, while filming the app turned itself off, after 25 minutes 8 seconds, which was annoying. Lucilky I noticed it and started recording again almost immediately.

    I have one idea. Move AI gives free coins to create animations. What if you make 10-20 accounts using the anti-detect browser, cut the video into pieces, put each piece into the accounts and get an fbx as a result, which can be glued together in the program. Can you do this?

    About optimizing lights. It's easy to put several unneeded lights in center of scene and then optimize scene by removing them. I want to see tutorial on how to optimize lighting when scene already have only lights that are needed (like it would be in real life). More info missed in this tutorial: to optimize these lights you can decrease their Attenuation Radius to minimal that fits your scene and disable Cast Shadows if possible. This is what I can call optimization, not placing and removing unneeded lights.

    How so? This seems pretty solidly in the 'pro-sumer' price range. It's not cheap but compared to XSens ($12k + 2k a year subscription if you want full body and a gloves), and Optix systems are even more expensive it's a pretty good deal.

  • @millstoneandrope7808

    I wouldnt say its a scam. ive had it for 3 months. theres things rokoko does well and things it does not do well AT ALL. for basic mocab its great. if youre looking to dance/action/fast pace scenes then forget it. but for what you pay for it works depending on the project youre working on. I would say stay away if youre looking to anything with complicated movements. The leg issues are simply too great.

    @@NilsGallist It's 1500 USD for 3 months and $3000 for a year. You also need to buy at-least 3 GoPro 10s+(Or Iphones 11+ you want wide angle lens) to get the best capture quality out of the system, the more the better up to 8 I think depending on how big of a capture volume you want. That's at-least another 1k for the cameras and stands. Overall, it ends up being about as much as a Rokoko suit and Gloves and you can't actually see the output until you've processed it on their online service making it really dicey to use without actually seeing the quality of the captures until after the session is over. That in itself is a dealbreaker for me. I just picked up a Rokoko suit after winning the gloves for free and man the magnetitic interference makes the legs completely unusable in my apartment. unfortunate. I think in an environment with less metal it would be a better investment.

  • @NilsGallist
    @NilsGallistАй бұрын

    @@daveweinstock Thank you for the information. No wonder they don´t list that pricing anywhere. Outrageous. The magnetic interference stuff is only bad for the Rokoko. Hey, thank you very much! So the shader is built do distinguish between... I belive 3 layrs of "Lightness". You could add a fourth one that is taking care of the REALLY dark areas and display a very tight mesh of crosshatches. This you could create by just up-ing the tiling on the crosshatch pattern.
