Pick a direction on the compass, look for adventure: sometimes it's just a beautiful hike or a grueling climb up the mountain; sometimes there is a cold swim in the sea or mountain stream. Maybe it will be an extremely exposed height or a really dusty road, hard driven with my old Land cruiser. Either way the night sky and firelight at camp may just bring rest to a long day.
God has given me a life to live fully - come for the journey, especially if you can't get IntoTheOut365 yourself!

I just love your videos. Have been hiking on the mountain for more than 40 years. Brings back lots of memories
Thank you for watching. That was one of my fist attempts at video making, pretty rough! The learning curve has been steep but also very enjoyable and I am glad to share adventures with people who share my love for the outdoors! Keep adventuring!!!
I can feel that south easter all the way from Houston. Great hike. I miss the Cape.
Thank you for watching! South Easter in the Cape certainly has its days..... sometimes one hates it, especially when trying to record sound! (Try and try again....)
That was moer good!
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
🐉🐍🐸🔦🇿🇦👍
Thank you for watching.
👍🏾🪱loved it..
Glad you enjoyed
Hi that was awesome. Thanks
Thank you for watching - that was my first attempt at filming and KZread, so thank you for the encouragement!
Schitterend you can share your passion! As a beginner I just hiked Pipe Track and Platteklip Gorge and enjoyed it very much. Volgend jaar meer! Groet uit Alkmaar Nederland 🇿🇦🇳🇱 Ja Ja Ja!
So glad you enjoyed it and that you managed to get out there yourself! Well done on the two tracks! Pity we couldn't meet up, Monty is still overseas, so we just didn't get around to it! Please make sure to contact again when you are in country!
🙏🏼Thank you Mike! We will be back in January. Back out in 305! So kind of you and Monty! 👍🏼
So glad I missed the snakes in Devils Pit…😵💫😵💫
Next one you get to see the snakes🤣
That was moerse!
That was lots of fun!! Glad you enjoyed!
Where were you okes trying to go on the first trip? Up the Els Ravine? Where you sat drinking your Milo at the dry waterfall, you just continue straight up the waterfall rock face. It's a difficult scramble with weak holds. The tree that was there to assist is now gone. Glad you guys are OK.
Els ravine yes - we eventually figured it out, but by that point the boulder had already rolled Monty. A call was made in favor of safety and recovery. Thank you for watching and for commenting. It is always awesome to get tips from people!
Looks like a great hike. Do you take people on hikes?
Thank you for watching and commenting. So Monty is currently in the planning process for a Trail guide business and will therefore do "tailor made" hiking and adventures. Maybe leave a contact of some sort and Monty is sure to get back to you.
Wow. Well done . You rock!!!
Thanks so much! Thank you for watching!
🫚🍺⛰️🔥🧗🏻♂️👍🏼
Thank you for watching.
@@intotheout365 Thank you for sharing!
Nuts_ you guys are such a laugh,,😀
Thank you for watching! Nuts is my new compliment......! I hope you have nutty friends and adventures too.
Yappity yappity yap yap!!😅😅😅😂😂
Zig-zag.....
Wow done slangolie but not the tunnel just wondering if iam up to it now lekker man manne love the video
Thank you for watching. Slangolie is a tough hike - but either way, if you can, get on to the mountain and enjoy!!
The scrapings onthe rock look fairly recent - otherwise i would have considered the Thars that used to roam all over these areas, although mostly on the steep rocky inclines
Thank you for watching. There are still 3 or 4 left, I saw some on Platteklip about a year or two ago.
Going to have to do this one for sure
Hope to meet you on the trails!
Ah man loving this account so much at the moment had to give you guys a sub. I stay in cpt and it’s so nice to see some people from the area making content like this ❤
Welcome aboard! I am so glad you want to get out there - there is so much to explore, you can spend a life time doing it here!
Great enjoyable informative video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dit was nou moer lekker, Mikey!
Ons het so baie gelag! Was lekker gewees om te doen!
Absolutely love your videos! Thanks for all the lekker adventures.
Glad you like them! And thank you for your engagement - appreciate.
What an extremely beautifull hike... and love the fun you have together..
Thank you for watching! I hope that you too manage to get out and about on our trails!
Moerse! All those black wattles are terrible. Pity the Cape mountains have become so infested with invasive plants.
Yes Ray, sadly Cape Nature has also (yet) to actually work in this area to "conserve" against illegal squatters, Alien vegetation and the tons of rubbish discarded throughout the Molenaars river area.
Omg you guys are nuts!
Thank you for watching.
In the heat your heart also has to work so much harder thus the level of exertion is much higher.
Exactly, and having a virus onboard makes it all the more dangerous. Took 2 weeks to recover.
Glad that he made it back safely. Hiking in that heat is brutal.
Yes, me too.
I can't see how close the stairs are?
The stairs were actually carved and placed, making them evenly spaced - unlike other areas on the mountain where random boulders were placed in a "stair like" fashion.
So why is Cape Town local people paying so much for water what is the government up too
So, I can't really speak to the "paying" part (I do have an opinion though) But as for the Woodhead tunnel, the water that used to flow through that pipe from Woodhead dam now flows through the Apostle's tunnel and is still in use today.
Loved hiking Dark Gorge however I literally froze near the top as I kept on slipping backwards every few metres - the vertical ascent was indeed somewhat intimidating! The tree roots were a godsend for assistance Loved the video - thank you for posting! Cheers Brendon 🙏🏻
Thank you for watching. Yes, Dark gorge is a little intimidating at the top. The main issue being that the natural flow of the gorge almost directs you to the right on exit, as opposed to intentionally going towards the left against the cliff face where there are many trees and tree roots to hold on to. Despite having done this a few times I still make the mistake....
Awesome videos, keep trekking out there!
Thank you for watching. I hope you are able to get out too.
☝️✅👍💪🕊️🇿🇦🇳🇱
Thank you for watching - and yes, He is watching over us!!
@@intotheout365 🙏🏼 Enjoying your videos! They are fabulous infotainment. Staying in Camps Bay the next month 👍 Greetings from the Netherlands.
Awesome spot to get out on to the mountain. Try Kasteelspoort and the the pipe track. PS Welcome to Cape Town!!
@@intotheout365 Hartelijk dank!!
we will meet up?? take you around? caving??
Awesome video man! I am glad you guys both made it back safely. One day I would like to come up and hike around on that beautiful mountain too.
Please do! Thanks for watching.
PS if you are close to Cape Town, Lionshead is a quick and easily accessible route. Beautiful views especially around sunset.
Lol I am from the northen suburbs, so one day I will go out there for a hike. :) Thanks for the tip!@@intotheout365
Recognition and awareness - well done. Refocus and keep cool 😀
Yes! Thank you! And "keep cool" is definitely the operative word....
This was great to watch... my stomach right up in my throat at parts. I also thought I could make out the body of a person sleeping, like Monty commented, because the white rocks on top of the pipe looked like a person's feet/shoes/
Hahahahaha! It did look a little like a person. Monty was a little white faced after that! Thank you for joining us on the adventure!
Wow, moerse!
Thank you. Pity about the lowlight capabilities on my camera. That cave with all its gold and white luminescence is really beautiful. More light and better gear next time......
Jeepers man these camera angles are great. I'm taken back by the effort you put into these videos. Please keep making them!
Thank you for the encouragement and for watching. I use the DJI action 3 which doesn't allow much scope for decent shots - and I am seriously a beginner cameraman. Hopefully one day I will be able to get a decent camera!
This is great stuff guys. Thoroughly enjoyed this video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dit lyk baie lekker. Ek begin nou planne maak om dit te doen. Goeie video julle 2. Dankie vir deel.
Bly jy het dit geniet!!!
Whod does the first song in this video? its awesome song.
kzread.info/dash/bejne/g2R4tqSMcabIZMY.html
I think this is the song you are referring to. Thank you for watching.
Well done but do look up Tartaria and Red Bricks and mud floods and meltology.. These caves are much older than 1450.
Thank you for watching. Will do some research on these caves.
The "stonehenge" feature on the plateau is reminiscent of the surface of the Venezuela/Amazonian Tapui's with their eroded and protruding cave systems forming the current-day tops.. If so, Table mountain will be a honeycomb of caves and waterways.... which does seem to be the case. Love the films and thanks for your exploration efforts on this stunning, unique mountain. .
Thank you so much for watching and for the well thought through comment. I read your line with a "David Attenborough" accent. Hope to find you on the trail someday!
Nice!
Thank you for watching.
You just gained a new subscriber! This was awesome!
Welcome aboard! Hope to meet you on the trail!
Hi, Love your spirit and appreciation for nature. Hope to perhaps see you on a mountain sometime! Regards Eric
I hope so too! And thank you for watching.
Nice. Get proper boots bro.. makes it much easier.
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching.
Really lekker adventure. I remember taking 3 firs up. It gets super steep. Got to be careful coming down there.
For sure! I have been down there in the wet before - not the best of ideas! Thanks for watching.
