  Be very careful with the latest Plex updates. They've started to automatically do two things; 1) They tracking "playback data" - Apparently, 6-12 months ago a server update AUTOMATICALLY" OPTED YOU IN TO SEND PLAYBACK DATA TO PLEX!!! The privacy update was mentioned, but nothing was specified indicating they were starting to grab your server data in some cases. To opt-Out, from a browser, open your Plex Server. Go into server Settings (Wrench icon), Account, and scroll to the bottom. Click on the tiny "Privacy Preferences" hyperlink (this may be difficult to see depending on your browser font, colors, etc). This opens what looks like an info/FAQ page, but is actually a Settings page. There is an obscure area box inside the "Optional Playback Data" section (about half-way to the bottom). Just prior to the next bold section title, is a box with a barely noticeable (aka, hidden) checkbox showing that you're Opted-In to sharing playback data!!! Supposedly they're not recording titles, but ... Uncheck that and you're immediately opted OUT of that (there is no Save, it does it immediately). 2) They've started to email ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS notices on what you're watching. Again, there was no notification they were doing this "for you," but the invasion of privacy is readily apparent nor does the area you can restrict titled so that you know what they're doing. In a browser, open your Plex server and click on the wrench icon (Settings). Click on Account and scroll down until you see "Account Visibility ... & sharing." Click on "Edit." Update each of those settings to your preferences. This is why it might be better to have any friends setup their own Plex Account, or provide access to them through the "Managed User" feature (Settings, Plex Home" - or, delete and don't use Friends at all (I don't; they're all Managed Users. 3) Also note that Sync My Watch State and Ratings" Note that in smaller print, it indicates this sync's across the ENTIRE PLEX PLATFORM. I freaked as I can't find anything to define what they mean by "entire" - world wide, friends, or something else. I turned it off, but don't know who it might impact other users who have more than one streaming device/plaform accessing their server.

  2024 and this came in handy! Could not for the life of me find the lsd file (linux mint mate). Package download did not create a lsd directory within the .config. Based off of this video I created one and a config.yaml now I am able to configure everything! Thank you!

  here's a cool thing that I've learnt marks you can press m + any lowercase key and you'll kind of bookmark a place in your document (i think you can also use numbers, not sure) to go to it just do ' + name of the mark and the uppercase letters for spicific files, so 'V could be your vim config, and 'L could be lua config, and so on.

  Sadly although Calibre still works fine, you can't download modern books from Amazon and convert them. There are other options to do it if you search the web

  This is my easy way to Backup Plex Server (Everything) I use windows 10 In order to Backup everything including Windows settings & all programs.. I Use - AOMEI Backupper Pro!! It Realy works!! Put Remeber it just for the same Computer that you Just made that Backup.. Now there is another Software i Use.. it's Call - EaseUS Todo PCTrans Pro!! It Realy works!! with this Software I am able to just save the Plex hole program & save it on a USB Drive... Then I go & Install the EaseUS Todo PCTrans Pro on the New Computer then Tranfer My Plex from my USB Drive!! It Realy works!! yes .. thats My 2 easy way to always fix any Plex Bad situations..

  In my honest opinion, Azula is a pawn of a toxic environment because of her imperialist native nation and her 3 toxic royal family members like her paternal great grandfather Sozin who started the 100 year war plus he is the one that brought disgrace, embarrassment, & shame to his royal family plus the fire nation in the first place, her paternal grandfather Azulon who continued the war, & especially her father Ozai who also continued the war plus he manipulated her as a weapon so he could selfishly rule the world as the Phoenix King. Despite all the indoctrination, lack of compassion, pain, and suffering Azula went through, I cannot trust her because she is so dangerous & so ruthless because of her constant manipulative character plus her narcissistic attitude. If her Uncle Iroh can change and her brother Zuko can change, why can’t she change. I always wondered if Azula was raised in a empathetic normal family and if she grew up in a healthy positive environment, she will definitely grow up to be a decent human being period.

  I don’t think autocompletion is more useful to developers than to non-developers. I do translation professionally with vim, and whenever i have a term or name than spans several words repeated in the text, like company or product names, contextual C-xC-p saves a load of typing!

  Stage 1: Vim allows to open files in multiple tabs 🤯 Stage 2: You don’t need multiple tabs to open files in vim. Just use buffers 🤯🤯🤯

  Last time I looked that's a known issue and hasn't been fixed yet. I can't find the link anymore, but I saw it in the pull request logs somewhere on the Polybar GitHub.

  This was super helpful. I went to the Plex website at first for help, but it only showed instructions for backing up the additional settings (plist). Because of your video, I now found the 10gig application support files that I need to move over. Working on this now, hopefully all goes well. Thank you so much for this.

  programmer here, you could clean up your random chess piece code by writing `shuf -e "${PROMPTS[@]}" -n1` then all you would need is a list. you wouldn't need the 'declare' line either because shuf does not require the array to be indexed if you want to efficiently level-up your bash/zsh script I always recommend people use the 'man' command. so in this case 'man shuf'. sometimes there are multiple man pages too. so you can run `man 2 <command>` or `man 3 <command>`. in other cases there is a help command. like `help declare`.

  Don’t know what kind of hardware you’re running. But I recently spun up a TrueNas Core based Plex server and it’s been great. Really easy to transfer all the data and the easiest way I’ve ever set up Plex & NextCloud together on one machine.

  For Kindle this only works if you are going to open the epub file on your Kindle e-reader. If you are using the Kindle app on a different device, then it doesn't work. You'll be able to download the epub file as a pdf, but the Kindle app won't open the epub file.
