The method I was using to have bspwm launch polybar was stupid. Just add this anywhere to the bspwmrc instead: sh $HOME/.config/polybar/NAMEOFSCRIPT.sh

I love bspwm! I'm playing around with it in a vm, and making my dotfiles for it. I'll probably put it on one of my machines over the holidays. I like the default spiral layout. I have it set to the golden ratio so it tiles in a fibonacci spiral, which I find amusing. I like the simplicity, and find the config much easier than awesome.

I tried BSPWM but I fell in love with how absolutely customizable awesome wm is.

Awesome will always be my first love, we kissed on the playground underneath the slide. You don’t forget a memory like that.

I really like bspwm . So easily configurable. Using the community edition of Endeavour OS for it, works great. PS: Of course! When you only have scotch left you gotta run for the bourbon ;-)

Nice bspwm demo. I do not use nitrogen or similar stuff. I just use display command from imagemagick for setting wallpapers. Did you check what is wrong with your video description template?

I didn't know imagemagick could set wallpapers, I might have to look into that. As far as the links in the description go, I literally don't know what the issue is. Some of the links work some of them don't. I sent a message to KZread, but I'm still waiting on a reply. In the meantime, you can always just copy/paste the links into a browser and they work. It seems like it's just and issue with the way KZread handles hyperlinks in the description of videos. It's only the GitHub & Twitter links that are broken regularly as far as I can tell.

@@makc You have zero width space "%E2%80%8B" at ending of non working links. You can see them when you right click on your links and use inspect option. I was guessing that is some copy/paste issue. Imagemagick can set wallpapers by using something like "display -window root bc.png" but I am not sure how does it work for non native resolutions and different aspect ratios from your screen ratio

Can u introduce qemu-system-x86 (or the arch exec available) command in a video where you try to configure and run a virtual kvm instance with maybe an Iso or disk In virtio mode (virtualization). Maybe even how to use the pxe/ipxe boot option with it? Cheers

I don't think that will make it into this particular series, but I'll look into it. Thanks for watching, and cheers as well!
