    Maybe old bendy would have been better, lol Were the valve covers not baffled for pcv, is that why it was sucking so much oil? I like the air filter sitting toward the front better also but I don't think I could have made myself cut my hood. Also what did you do about the MAP?

  • @tommywestway
    @tommywestway9 ай бұрын

    @stevenbelue5496 Thanks for watching. The new Lokar valve covers are NOT vented for pvc on driver's side. I installed a catch can on the line from valve cover. Yea cutting the hood was scary but had to be done. The MAP sensor ties in to the large vacuum port at the rear of the intake manifold.

    Excellent video showing the process of relocating the coil packs. I am building a LSX 427 in a 70 Camaro. Been considering putting the two separate (4) coil packs on the radiator core support brace down low, then running the spark plug wires under the headers onto the plugs with angle plug caps. The biggest factor for my project is the spark plug wiring route. I like your 4 coil mounts you made, That should work for my project.

    Why the 2001 blazer front spindles?also we're those spindles a direct bolt on or did u have to modify them to work?

  • @tommywestway

    @Patrick dubuc I was going to replace the old spindles with 2" lowered ones. I found out on KZread that the 2001 Blazer ones have better built in bearings in them and I get dual piston calipers to boot ( the old ones were single piston) best of all they bolt on with no mods needed.
