Poor retired gearhead with a Blazer built like origami
And then one day, when everyone was flee in
Up in the sky was brewin' a storm called Ian.
Hurricane Ian that is. A cat 4 monster. Danger Danger Will Robinson.

We live in Venice and saw what you saw that day. North Port makes the news again! We had minor damage with soffit n fascia blown off with water coming into a guest closet from the foundation; we thank god we had a new roof installed in April!! Our old cage help up surprisingly while a few others on our street weren’t so fortunate! Thnx for sharing your scary experience 😬

I’m so very sorry for the mess Ian left behind for you and your lil pooch!! Hope you have some friends/family to give some assistance! Our street also had @2’ of water but our house I guess sits up high enough that it didn’t reach our front door.
So so sorry for your loss😔

@Dianne Mckoy It's OK. We are some of the luckier ones. Thank God. There were others not to far from here, that had 3 feet of water in their homes. Gotta keep smilin'.
