Great video. Any update on this 3 years later? I am planning for a baby soon and need to satisfy my need for speed (and the lady’s for a SUV) with the Cayenne GTS/Turbo/S. I have a local shop that specializes in BMWs/Porsches and am willing to compromise a bit on upkeep for performance. That said, did maintaining the vehicle get that much worse since you posted the video, and do you still have it? I am looking at specs 70k miles and under, ideally.

Towed 2500miles , 20 feet trailer 6300lbs total weight , with weight distribution hitch, sway control and with trailer brake. Commercial tires on 4Runner . No problem at all. Easy goes over big mountains, stable on freeway speeds. Acceleration is very good all the way to 80mph. Comfortable speed 65-70. 4Runner 2023 SR5. Done fantastic job.

It might also be hydrostatic pressure blocks filling up movement mostly happens in winter water freezes in the blocks which expans creates movement I got 6 carbon fiber straps and a full French drain hope you evaluated it properly good luck. I doubt those things will hold good luck though

Seems like something most could do but this seems like only a solution for wall coming in from the top. I have an issue where it is bowing in the middle. do that have systems for fixing that type with similar products?

lol I have a 15 4Runner also with 33s and full armor not regeared not tuned no supercharger and it hauls cars all across Ohio Pennsylvania Indiana West Virginia and Kentucky. Usually at or above 5k lbs between trailer and car. No transmission cooler just a monitor no weight distributing hitch no air bags just heavier springs in the rear and a trailer brake controller and its gotten the job done for 9 years now. And well paid for itself over more than 200k miles 150k or more of that towing 4k lbs or more and have had no engine or transmission issues yet. 30k transmission fluid changes and keeping it out of OD and it still drives like new with or without a trailer

So what are you doing with my old car? I have seen no updates. A couple of corrections. The engine is not bone stock, unless the person you bought it from (don't want to mention his name for privacy reasons) removed the Neil Emiro SBEC. I can see the blow off valve is still installed. My doing. I sold the car with a Neil Emiro 3 bar SBEC, a 3 bar MAP and injectors for said calibration in addition to the Emiro SBEC I had installed at the time of sale. Did you get those items? And also, unless PO replaced them as I did sell some body kit parts to him, the side skirts are original. Air dam was replaced and was the last Mopar air dam in the system. I worked in service for a Dodge dealer at the time. I know he did some repainting on the side skirts at the wheel well. Trunk got a touchup when I bought the car. Note the Shelby and CSX are not in their correct positions. While one person remarked about the springs, I can say the car was competitive in autocross. I wonder if you noticed the brakes were modified with a truck master cylinder, bigger front calipers, special pads, and gas venting done on the rotors. All that courtesy of the late Ed Peters. Car was driven on road courses at Indy, at Heartland Park, at Waterford Hills, the actual track at Indy, and on a parade lap at Las Vegas International that ended up being a rat race when Carroll took off in his Series 1. A few passes down the strip also. It was a fun car, but I lost interest. Search CV6Enterprises on flickr to find pics.

I find it hard to believe that these posts can push a concrete wall with a massive amount of dirt behind it straight again. Wouldn’t digging around the perimeter of the house down to the footer and putting gravel in help relieve pressure?

I assume that block wall has rebar and vertically core filled at least every 4ft? and horizontal truss mesh reinforcement? If so, assuming the wall was properly built, then your real problem is drainage behind that wall. Water is most likely building up behind the wall and not draining adequately causing the wall to fail over time. Although your wall is back in place it will start to collapse again unless you fix the drainage problem behind the wall.

@@christopherlabonte7583 I had water coming off the hill behind my house. I just dug a 2 to 3 foot deep graded trench about 3 feet from my foundation and lined it with landscape cloth then set perforated PVC drainage pipe in the hole, covered it with stone and covered the top first with more landscape cloth then soil. The pipe runs down the hill. When it rains the open end of the pipe pours water.

Thanks! This may be among the things I'll need to do to repair some foundation damage. Do you know if this tension system will work for floor separation from exterior walls? My (soon to be) house has some foundation work needed down the line likely some significant redoing.. but in the short term I'm hoping I can pull the bowing back in a bit.. and one thing that's happened is the floor joists are not resting into the foundational wall.. from some bowing in the middle of the house, but also some separation of the exterior wall.
