Lovesick Moose and Cow story, 1986. Shrewsbury, Vermont. Larry Carrara interview.
In 1986 a bull moose wandered onto Larry Carrara’s farm in Shrewsbury, Vermont and fell in love with a cow named Jessica. The story got national attention and put Shrewsbury on the map.
I took footage of this interview with multiple cameras, and this is the “spare” camera footage which has a lot of wind noise. I am saving the primary footage with better sound for a short documentary about the “lovesick moose” which will be completed in the future when I am done collecting material.

Love to see him telling his story. Going to miss seeing him on the mountain. Love he has a Noble hat on. I have his book and a t shirt.

In the video he talks about when he intentionally wears the GE hat during TV interviews as a nod to his company. I’m sure the Noble hat was very intentional that day.

I have much better quality footage and audio from my main camera. We will use that for the documentary one of these days.
