This is Jocko framing a story of his unprofessional SEALs, doing unprofessional sh*t, and him having no control of it as “kinda what you want”. Most people would have heard this and thought he was right if it hadn’t been for recent revelations about Jacko and the people that worked for him on the task force.

By the time I had thirty two years of experience here on this earth, I defeated them both, and have trained harder than ever since then. But I would have never met them, and trained directly under them, had I not prayed to the LORD over a decade ago: I saw so many people getting their blackbelts so that they could go on dates with multiple women at a time, show off, etc. I asked the LORD that I receive mine out of humility. I woke up the next day in terrible back pain, which made me leave my previous place and wonder why God would let that happen as a result of me praying to Him. I searched for a few months, found Francis Santarose, and he said clearly to me at the time, "You think God sent you here for martial arts, but He sent you here to be a believer." he was correct; I have a very close relationship with he LORD God now, and now I see what He Says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

The fact that he's ALL of these things while having a family with 3 kids astounds me. I'm really curious on how he has the energy to do all the things that he does and still maintain them. Truly an amazing guy!

I admire him not necessarily due to his unbelievably high achievements but he has that confidence, communications skills and a team mindset. I am Korean mom and this is how we should raise our children- to be a well rounded individuals so that they can be happier living in USA!

Big fan! Grandmaster Chu grew up in the Korean war. Taekwondo and Judo champion got the best schools. Graduate young in Judo college. World Judo/Yudo champion and world military Judo champion then off to Vietnam war. Return to join the presidential security special service how ever after the president wife was killed after a fail attempt he and others were dismissed all were punished. Came to America coaching Cumberland university Judo team. Move to chattanooga and I became his life long student Judo/Yudo and Taekwondo. He is very nice man but superhuman on the mat it's unreal!
