Gallup Journey Test Drives
Gallup Journey Test Drives
As a part time writer for a local publication I have the opportunity to test drive new vehicles monthly and write a review/column on them. I create and post videos here to help readers and watchers have a better idea of some of the things I explain in my articles and hopefully inform and answer questions for viewers/drivers.
thanks for watching!
Keep those views coming and hopefully I can get some ad revenue and get a better camera

To change a light bulb
just the video I was looking for
Copilot rated the 2014 Toyota Tundra as one of the best years.
So the updated 2014 and newer head unit will fit a 2010-2013? Sorry I just noticed yours was the newer style.
Oh if you only knew the grill was going to get WAY Bigger!
I have a 2016 Juke and the wife & myself love it; ass we've had it for 4 yrs now. I know that CVT transmission is a bomb waiting to detonate when it goes though, and I hear it's quite costly to replace. I've told my wife a few times now " when this transmission fails it's up in the air whether I'll repair it or just purchase another vehicle. Being as I live in Asia with a lot of province mountains and ferry boat travel I like the ground clearance of this cross-over; however I think I'll go with a larger 4-wheel drive more than likely.
I miss fhis. Channel tbh
Very helpful
I'm actually looking to buy 2012 Prius V. I currently do door Dash and drive a 2002 Volkswagen Golf TDI. The thing that baffles me is my Volkswagen gets 45 to 50 miles to the gallon and it's a diesel. And it also is 22 years old. And I get this mileage by driving it like a normal car. I heard you have to do all these special things to draw of the Toyota Prius to get the mileage that it says it can get. I have yet to find someone that says that they recommend this over my Volkswagen. Even after Diesel gate and all the other issues that Volkswagen have had are still see my Volkswagen is a better vehicle. But even with that said I still think I want to purchase the Prius V and dedicated more towards more doordash delivery job. Most of my deliveries are in the city some of them I have times I have to get on the highway but most of it is like a three to five mile drive and then I stop. I know this is an older video but I still would like some to see if I could get some kind of input from people that own a car like this and use it for delivery use. Thank you in advance also this is a great video and gives me an idea of some of the reasons that I may and may not want the car.
U fashur got my subscribe it’s not many ppl that’s awaken on the wagons almost everyone think they crap
Hasn't changed in 10 years
The 5.7 is way louder than the 4.6
It has a back camera
You posted this 9 years ago and it’s still the best video out there for the Prius V- thank you! And thank you for showing how a guitar would fit!!!🙏🙏🙏
What a Cry Baby
He's hot!
Seeing them for 23k at 150k miles. Is that a good buy?
Bro you need to continue making more videos.
Looking at one in 2024. Has 100k on her. One owner, Long Island, New York garage kept everyday of its life.
Comparing the Highlander to a GM is like comparing a Rolex to a toy watch ⌚
Very complete and engaging review!
Thats very nice car Prius c
I think you need to stick with a ford or chevy and let those of us with class enjoy our Toyotas. I will wave at you if you beside the road with the hood up. Won't need to stop as I am sure you have already used your cell phone.
Do you still do reviews? Haven't seen any videos on your channel anymore. Was this filmed in Gallup NM?
Yes, I shot these in Gallup. I don’t make videos anymore though…too much work!
@@gregcavanaugh6259Do you live in Gallup? Just curious bc it's such a remote place. Weird to do a review there.
I bought a 2014 Escape and only 8 months later I had to buy a new transmission! There's been a couple of recalls for different reasons too. I highly recommend staying away from this vehicle! I'm going to probably buy foreign made next time!
I heard people said they cause so much problems ?
That's very nice car Prius c
If your gonna buy a 2wd truck you don’t need a truck
First video i found that actually explains the cargo space difference.
How much is this 2015 highkander
I have the 2015. The 3.6 V6 is a pooch. Way underpowered.
@3:17 this Mazda is awesome. LOL
AGREED__-- with THESE-- you're getting VALUE.. (not the best mpg- but hey, can't have everything).. A NEW saying exists because of these. People use to say " Nothing CERTAIN in this life but death and taxes"--- now it's " nothing Certain in this life but death, taxes, and 4runners"...
I'd LOVE one if it weren't for the MOON ROOF-- I can't stand anything but a solid roof - NO stupid moon roof, sun roof or whatever for me-- just a LEAK waiting to happen or a weakness in the body that I don't want. (NOT knocking them for those that like them - I just don't want them in anything I buy).
How would you rate the vehicle today? 12/2023? The mechanics. Not the esthsetics.
good commentary
What about the seat warmers?
Best car ever made!
I like your video, simple , detailed well explained 😂
This looks REALLY practical with the front passenger seat folding and the third row creating a perfect flat load floor. Kinda amazing how practical it is, also, loving the 2000s vibes of this video.👌
Just got my Girl, I will be doing more vid's.. kzread.info/dash/bejne/poSMr8RtnsmtgKg.html Mine is the Performance Pack but I have no Pony on the ground and no switch's.. I would love that light on the ground at night.. I do have track mode, and line lock and all that but the only sport mode I have is for steering.. And I have traction on and off button and that is it.. I have an Interior vid too. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pn-EuZauiLbHerg.html
My prefered car ford edge,
They are really good at calling any car by bad names in videos' titles because chances are that anyone reading it is a potential buyer of the specific car and they will be scared of the title and They Will Want To See what's wrong with it and they will watch the video, while if it says "Best Car Ever" they might as well just calmly keep scrolling
Where did he find a supercharger for that truck?? I've been looking for one for so long for mine of the same year
Thanks for sharing. We just purchased a used 2015 Highlander. It replaced our total loss , caused by someone rear ending us on our previous 2015 Toyota Highlander. Yes, we enjoy this type vehicle. This newer one is Limited version with more amenities. It has over 150,000 miles, but I trust Toyota to take us down the road for a long time. Oh, we only recently figured out the flip open back window by pressing the small black rubber button.
It's funny how US version has all those info texts on the cruise control stalk 😂 Too difficult without.
BEST WAGON IN THE WORLD!
Wow, a human being who cares about the same features of a car that I do. Strangely rare. Thanks for making this video!
Ok, you heard the hype. Now hear the truth. I bought my 2016 new in 2018 because the dealer couldn’t sell it at list price. So he ended up having to dump it and I got a good deal on it. So I’v had it for 5 years with full three year warranty. I just finished paying for it and now the driver assist warning light goes on. Also the left rear entry door would not open. So I take it to the dealer and they tell me both tail lights have tiny cracks and the mounting brackets are broken. So water is getting in and guess where they put the driver assist sensors? Yep, in the tail lights. Total cost to replace is $5500. This is also happening on other Ford trucks too. I would NEVER BUY another Ford truck. If you must get one because Fords are your thing lease it. At least you can dump it back on the dealer after two years. There is another KZread video called “Repair costs are out of control”. They go over this same problem on a F-150. 2023 will be the last year the Transit Connect will be sold in the US. Good riddance.
Its an outstanding fuel economy for a 7 seater to this day.
