Well as far as sound is concerned, I think the best 12 in London Not only did my dad and Bill Theobald hang them in 1961 but I remember them being hung, I was 8 Having said they are the best sound contrast them with ST Paul's which I also love and best St Paul's is old school Taylor's. The reason I love St Paul's is they are to me at least the Quintessential some of London, the sound of Victory, the some of joy and the sound of my birth To even consider retuning t modern tuning is unthinkable. Very nice sound! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, the chime tune heard before the striking of the hour is "Westminster" and there are actually lyrics for it. They are below if you want to read them while listening or sing along. Lord, through this hour, be Thou our guide. So, by Thy power, no foot shall slide. These words are based on Psalm 37:23-24, where David the psalmist declares this: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.
