Given what Matt said below, I'll record the 12 sometime in the next week or two now that the work has been done. Let's see if we can hear differences.

A brief update - since this recording, there's been a significant amount of work done in the tower to improve the acoustics, let by Andrew Ogden of Taylors (very kindly working in his spare time). All now agree the situation is much improved and you can hear all the bells clearly, including the treble and third.

A stunning 12 - think they've had some work done on the acoustics so you can actually hear them (I could certainly hear the treble when I rang it!) - you can certainly tell there's something truly amazing upstairs!

Slightly long rope there for you Adam. Can barely make out the treble at all! Lovely sounding bells though.

The treble is very inaudible.

Yes, it was at the time this recording was made. The balance of sound was much improved on my more recent visit. They are a super ring of 12.

@@AtTheBellEnd Unbelievably similar to Bradford in a way. A boss Taylor 12 that could be up there with the best should the acoustics be sorted out. As a 10 or 8, they are excellent but feel very indistinct as a 12.
