  Williams putting on all their downforce and still not being the slowest on the straights is quite an improvement. In years past, they would be so slow on the straights at street circuits because the car was so draggy.

  What's more interesting than Verstappen's tow, is the fact that Mercedes is the slowest of the Merc engine teams. Let's remember that Mclaren and Aston were 2nd and 3rd, with Williams 6th. Also Alpine lmao

  Fastest in a straight line means jack when race track isn't a drag strip. In F1, fastest on a straight, just means you're running a less downforce setup, hence less drag than the rest, around the corners you'll be the slowest 😂😂

  ​@@lovelehstufftop speed in monaco doesnt nean much, best track for real top speeds is spa, that circuit is all about efficiency, so teams use similar rear eings, and the fastest on the straights there are the fastest on the straights on places where Drag is most relevant

  Read that because a bolt was missing in his pedal he lost a bit of time and could have done a 10,0 or 9,9, which reminds me of 2 years ago when he destroyed all other drivers at qualifying with a good margin but when analyzing his pole run could have gone ,300 faster

  This is actually very interesting. With how dominant the McLaren has been in medium-fast corners, I wasn't expecting most of the slow corners to be won by a McLaren, especially the hairpin

  I don't think they won in the slow corners. They probably went in faster, but lost time on the straights afterwards, due to worse exits than Leclerc
