The C70 is an incredible camera.. hits way above its weight-class. I own one and it’s quite solid. Not sure what’s he’s talking about. The only thing that is a little fragile is the screen. Everything else is solid. The image quality is mind blowing. And the dynamic range is out of this world.

The Nikon Z8 body only costs $3,500. The Panasonic GH7 body only costs $2,200. And the fact that you've even compared a full frame stacked sensor Nikon Z8 to a MFT GH7 speaks volumes as to the incredible value of a Lumix GH7!

@@jmbaillard7015 the Nikon Z6 doesn't offer the same level of pro features that the GH7 does. It just doesn't. And the Z6III is $300 more than the GH7. So again, unmatched value from Panasonic! And as for the argument around full frame, if super 35 is good enough for Roger Deakins, the Oscars, Netflix, Arri and even the Palm D'or, then smaller sensor sizes good enough for the rest of us. And one massive thing about a MFT camera that hardly anyone speaks of is versatility. You have the option to work with a very small form factor with much smaller & cheaper lenses. And then with either a 0.64 or 0.71 Speedbooster, you can then upscale or upbuild the camera to suit whatever needs you have, and you gain a stop and a 3rd of light as well! Full frame does not offer that level of flexibility or versatility or cost savings. It just doesn't. But long story short, EVERY camera company is producing simply incredible cameras nowadays! There is no wrong choice anymore, just personal preference. Long live this golden age of camera technology!

Owning the GH6 and G9II, if the GH7 has the same video quality, the fine details in 4k 120fps are nowhere as good as 4K on the OG S5, S1, S1H or even GH5, especially when looking at skin textures.

I still believe, if Panasonic would take all the great features of the Lumix GH7, and create a Lumix GH7S (like the Gh5S line) with a 10 megapixels at a x1.8 crop sensor, with dual native ISO 400/8000, mixing with DR-Boost that can go up to a clean 14+ stop DR, it maybe the best video camera of the next 5 years and a game changer☝🏽

Once you actually shoot with either the 10-25 f/1.7 or the 25-50 f/1.7, then you realise why it costs so much! They are simply incredible, fully professional, all weather sealed, gorgeous image rendering lenses, perfectly designed to work under any conditions with the GH or MFT range! And if you shoot with either one, then you won't want to go back to lesser lenses afterwards. So agreed, if your bank account isn't happy about it, then ignorance is bliss in this case 😉

great video ! the GH7 has everything Lumix can do, newest AF, codecs, proxies, streaming, DR boost... I'll get it for sure. The GH6 is very close indeed, it is a killer camera too, but I love complex gimbal moves, and shallow telephoto shots of moving subjects, AF will help me get great those shots for sure. That's an expensive upgrade though. The resale value of my GH6 plumeted : After 2.5 years of ownership, I'll loose almost 1500e. 750e/ year is not cheap. For comparison, owning a more expensive camera could actually cost less : If I bought a Sony FX6 early 2021 for 6600e, It would be no problem to sell it more than 4000e today (3.5*750)
