This looks amazing. But once again someone makes an amazing pie or desert like the one you just made and we all wait to see you plate the pie. Would be nice to see how you cut it and put it on the desert plate.

Hello from southern California. 🌞⛱️🪁🌊🏄♀️ Thank you so much for sharing your easy to do Air fryer recipes, They are very informative. 👍 Someone just gave me a Air fryer for my birthday, I really love it. I'm still not sure as to what kind of different foods I can put in there yet. I never eat pork, but I do love vegetables and soup's. Thank you again for sharing.💞👱♀️

I notice u don’t knead the dough. I think I kneaded it too much What happens when you over kneaded it?
@marieskitchen2 күн бұрын
Hi Andrew! Great question. When you knead pie dough it will be more difficult to roll out because it will pull back in towards the center. When cooking, the dough will also shrink back in towards the center and become tough when you cut or bite into it. The goal with pie crust is to work it as little as possible, but just enough to bring it together into a ball of dough. Then chill to allow gluten to rest, and then roll out. Hope that helps 😊, Marie

Hi Marie. Thank you for the clear instructions and positive attitude. I remembe my mom stressing each time a pie crust fell apart or didn't come out big enough. I made my 1st crust yesterday after watching your video multiple times. I used whole wheat flour. What do you think? Overall my crust came out decent. Maybe my butter chunks were too large? I can see how it makes sense to have everything chilled too. Thanks!

Hi Marie! I am a very old man who can barely boil water. But in my old age, living alone and unable to afford to eat out I am learning how to cook and bake. I used to love chicken pies (pot pie with no veggies) and would like to be able to make them at home. The crust piece looks like something I can learn to do. Do you have a video on how to attach a top crust to the pie crust below to create a covered pie? I'd also like to know what to use for the filling besides baked, shredded chicken. Mushroom soup? Many thanks in advance!

Not sure why, but it took 12 minutes to cook
@marieskitchen3 күн бұрын
Hi Rebecca! Thanks for the feedback 😊. Did it build up pressure for 6 and then cook for 6 minutes? Possibly that is what took 12 mins total? Or did you actually enter 12 mins as the cook time? Happy to troubleshoot with you if needed! Thanks for watching 👍🏻 Hugs, Marie

I got my first air fryer today, and I am so disappointed. As you can see, the portions are so small. You can make much more on the stove or even in the microwave. I tried to make chicken and potatoes for just two people, and it didn't cook well. I had to wash it all, and for what? Honestly, I thought to just put it into the microwave to make it more cooked. The portions are very small. If you put more in, it cooks even less. I had a multicooker until it broke, and it is what must be in every kitchen. It can do everything - steam, cook, fry, make soup, everything. If you have that, you don't need anything else. I am going to either sell or give this air fryer to someone else; it just takes up space. Sure, I can put five small strips of bacon, wait 15 minutes, and do it again, and it will just be one portion of bacon, if that. But I can just do a whole lot in the oven plus potatoes and more... I must say, the air fryer isn't for cooking.
