A trainspotter and London enthusiast. I love to explore.
I strongly believe that anyone passionate about trains and railways should be able to watch railway-related content without difficulty. That's why my videos are dyslexia-friendly, composed in clear British English, and suitable for all audiences.

do you think you can write down the route list so that I could do it?
Will these ever run on the Shepperton line?
SWR have only stated so far that these units will be used on Weybridge services and Twickenham loop services. It's possible that they may turn up on these routes in the future but I don't believe any will run on the Shepperton branch at the moment.
These units were actually refurbished with the intention of using them on Waterloo - Portsmouth Hbr fast services, hence the 100mph max.speed.Don't yet know if that's still the intention.
SWR announced just a few months back that these services will not be used on Portsmouth services, and will remain on London suburban services for the moment to supplement the 701s as they are introduced.
7:18 what the
Have you got a link to the Adrian files to download?
Great video, and very nice units !
Great video mate and yes Elinor has replaced Celia on 455s she may well be likely on the new Class 458/4s. There is also a Ham Woods in Plymouth LOL.
Nice video! I can't wait to board one of these myself! The doors on these units open and close really fast, so they're much better for time-keeping on stopping services via Chertsey than 450s but it's got a cosy long-distance interior!
Thank you! I agree, the 458/4s seem to be the best of both worlds.
The second oldest stock in the UK would be the 1973 Piccadilly Stock wouldn't it? Great video anyways mate.
That's correct! Thanks as always, glad you enjoyed the video.
@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney Knew it! and your welcome :)
4:20 I see its still got the old announcements that's sick-
Indeed - I thought they would have replaced them with the new announcements by now.
@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney same here 😂
Great video Charlie 😊
Thank you :)
SWR Class 458
Awesome video
Thank you :)
nice work mate
Thank you!
I've been and come back lol.., went on a 777, my videos are up, in the process of making more, be great if you swing by and make a comment !
Semi public paking..
800 UK pounds sounds very cheap. Is that for a flight booked in the UK?
£800 isn't too bad for a one way fare - booked almost a year in advance. You can get one way fares for as little as £400 one way with some Chinese airlines.
That’s not rare, it happens when there is a signal failure
Still caught me off guard a bit to not hear the usual "Brixton"!
Nice
Thank you :)
That was quite funny but interesting that a Victoria line would actually be terminating at Victoria 😂
Ikr like there aint a depot there
Amazing video man
Appreciate it, thank you :)
I do like the new 805's they're nice
I agree, I think their interiors are much more pleasant than previous GWR or LNER units. They remind me a lot of the Lumo Class 803s.
Fun fact all of swr services have guards
Why is there a GWR IEP there? Was it on loan to Avanti West Coast?
The GWR 802 was running driver familiarisation runs between the GWML and London Euston. Euston may become a diversionary route for GWR when the Old Oak Common area is closed due to HS2 works.
Glad to see these units finally in service I wonder when the 807s will arrive?
807s are in testing at the moment, but I'm not sure if there are any that are painted into the Avanti colours just yet. I think it'll be a while, but maybe they'll be in service by the end of the year.
805005: RUN AWAY!
lol theres a gwr 800 at euston
That's a story for another day!

He is safe as he at the far end of the platform
In a real fire, I'm not sure what the safest thing to do would be as a spotter at the far end of the platform - what do you think? I think I would have exited the station rather than stayed at the end of the platform.
“EMERGENCY! Please leave the station!” *him casually standing there filming an 805*
This fire alarm was later confirmed to be a drill - bit of a shock hearing "Inspector Sands" in the middle of a spotting session. Completely by coincidence I heard it on a separate occasion later in the afternoon at King's Cross too!
@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney ah i thought it was a genuine evacuation
Awesome to see this series again!
Glad you're enjoying this series! They're so fun to film. More episodes on the way!
Nice review! While with other airlines, economy passengers are packed in there, with JAL the feeling is more spacious and relaxed, often with great food. I like to call it "Dignified Economy"--an increasingly difficult thing to find! Cheers, Guy
Thank you! JAL is noticeably more spacious than other airlines - I fly with them so much that I become disappointed at the "standard" amount of space you get per seat on other airlines! The quality of the food is definitely a draw to JAL over other airlines.
A welcome return of this interesting series. I look forward to the ferry crossings episode in the near future
Thank you, glad you're enjoying the series! Recorded that video just a couple of weeks ago - much to look forward to!
Mission Thames
Didn’t know Oxford Road was electrified
Is it £2 Before 9am?? I’m wondering if it’s £2 all day long or only after 9am, doesn’t tell me on the government website.
It is indeed £2 all day long. There are no peak bus fares in the UK like on trains, so the fare is the same at all times.
As somene who commutes from the far ends of the line I hear the red signal one at least once or twice a week!
Bad Video resolution but great PW engine sound
great vid! Is the intro music non-copyright?
The intro music is indeed non-copyright - I use music from the KZread Audio Library. You have a license to freely use the music without credit to the copyright owner as long as you don't claim it as your own.
@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney Great Thanks
Jal or ana?
That's a tough one - both JAL and ANA offer excellent economy class products. Whilst I think ANA'S Business and First Class looks much better than JAL's, I've preferred the experience on JAL.
Great video, someone doing a review who doesn't love the sound of their own voice.😂. Helped me pick JAL over BA... Thanks
Hahaha thank you! Enjoy your flight!
Can't wait till my 13 and a half hour flight to Tokyo next week on economy class btw my departure time is the same as yours
Oh nice! You'll be on either the 787-8 or 787-9 then. Enjoy your flight!
This is great I love it
weird how east midlands parkway is on the announcement list
Thanks for this. I'm flying this route in 2025. This gives me a honest review of what to expect. I read a lot of negative reviews of this carrier (mostly from those flying from the US to other destinations) and as getting worried!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'm surprised you've heard so many negative reviews about JAL. On my 20+ JAL flights within the past few years, I've found very little to complain about (and I'm quite hard to please!) Sure, their First and Business class products don't stand out above the rest (particularly on B777/787, but the A350-1000 soon to be introduced on the London route looks to change this) and perhaps the Economy fares are a little pricey, but nobody travels with JAL because they're cheapest option. You're in for a treat on your flight!
I'm from Jordan i have a visa to UK, do I need a visa to go to Belgium?
I'm not a travel agent, nor do I claim to know much about visa requirements. However, the UK is not in the European Union or the Schengen free travel zone so I'd highly doubt this visa could be used in Belgium. I'd recommend looking on the Belgian or Jordanian authorities' website for more reliable information though - hope this helps!
787 moyen
747 japan ils sont ou?
I don't believe any Japanese airlines fly the 747 anymore unfortunately.
