How FREQUENT is the Victoria line?
The Victoria line is the most frequent transport line in the entire world, with trains up to every 90 seconds. But just how long would you have to wait for a train if you missed one? Join me at Warren Street where we carry out an experiment to see.

The Victoria line is incredibly frequent. The best time to film this I find is normally rush hour where the trains are bunched and they are sometimes only 45 seconds apart! It's weird when it's so quick in off peak hours.

The trains are definitely more frequent at rush hour - I believe there’s 36 trains per hour. Trains often get delayed during rush hour because of people trying to squeeze onto trains (and there’s also tons of people around making it difficult to film the trains).

@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney Yep, nothing really that can be done. Something like Stockwell SB is great for filming frequent trains.
Try the central line frequency in Bethnal Green as they come up up to 1 minute 30 seconds

@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney No problem!
At Bank in the morning, I would miss a train and watch it slide into the westbound tunnel and then turn and watch another train creep out of the other tunnel. It seemed way more frequent than this, albeit this vid is off-peak.
Great video Charlie perhaps you could cast your experiment of what it’s like at Green park on the jubilee line off peak perhaps

The Jubilee line is definitely worth timing!

@@ItsAllAboutTheJourney plus another reason it can vary when it’s during off peak or rush hour Charlie
There should be 36tph in the peaks, giving a service every 100 seconds on its schedule. Off peaks come every 2 minutes, though still very frequent.
Love your videos, especially the Transport Roulette. Just asking. What app do you use to run the python script?

Aw thank you! In my Transport Roulette videos I use Pydroid 3 (available on Android). Since then I’ve switched to an iPhone and I use repl.it as it’s very difficult to find reliable Python IDEs on iOS.
Just noticed in your bit under the video you've put "trains up to every 90 minutes" , do you mean seconds?
