  You know. Sometimes playing "suboptimally" is fine. I love pharmacy, especially if it's endgame time. The extra hit can mean the difference between opening the gate and not. People saying stuff they don't like has no use just make me chuckle. My only complaint with pharmacy is that it doesn't work like manifest / etc so that it can be used if a teammate opened a chest beforehand.

  make it so the totem doesn't appear until Ruin specifically has regressed at least 1 gen worth in total from all regression of gens on the map (20% from 5 gens or 100% from 1). After 3 gens worth of regression the perk deactivates or if survivors break all totems before it appears the perk deactivates. this way you get some value without wasting half your build and its not crazy oppressive.

Although admittedly I am very happy with what they have so far. Even Ace has some great variety in his skins too. Now that I think of it - for the men - Gabriel could do with some more variety...

  I have ideas for ds: ds shouldnt deactivate when doing somthing and should last longer bc people dont use it for anti tunneling anymore. Or It should work like blastmine, wiretap or flashbang when you fix a gen and get it as in the movie lourie used what she could find to help herself. Or it could only work while in a locker but that would be bad but more movie accurate.

  Ds is an anti-tunnel perk. If people use it differently thats another story, if it doesn't deactivate then people will abuse the $h1t out of it and yk it

  It should work when looking at the killer but can only do it every thirty seconds for 3 so it would work exactly the same but you have a bit more control over it

  Since so many Gen slowdown get nerfed , and Sloppy and STBFL being nerfed , I started to use Ruin more on my (P100) Dredge , I play it in a way to get a 1vs3 as fast as possible and pressure as much as possible , that means survivor are forced to heal and unhook constantly while ruin regresses them , I’ll also bring Surge and Pain res for regression on top and for the last , I coudlve brought anything , but I brought Deadlock so I can hold on to that match , but let’s see how deadlock is after the nerf. I would buff Ruin to 125% regression or 130% similar to Call of Brine. I always loved ruin , since I don’t need to kick gens , didn’t really like Gen kicking , it was just hard to use sometimes because of bad hex totem spawn. But overall I love Ruin , needs a bit more love. (Treat them like they did with DS recently 😂)

  @@Andrekenz well only if I have to , which is most of the time , my MMR is soo high that survivors start to use as much second chance perks as possible + gen rush , and using their map to their favor. Because imo Ruin shines in a 1vs3 with other gen regression perks if u pressure well. I play mean just like them 🤷‍♂️

  imagine! that would be kinda op tho lol, depends on the speed, if it's 0.1 charges every second then it would but if it's like half the repair speed of survivors then it probably would be, anw the perk's purpose is to fool the killer not fix a gen lmao

  this combo works best with blast mine they charge at the same time, you can set them both up at the same gen and when the killer finds your illusion and goes to kick the gen, it explodes in their face lmao

  It's easy. There's survivors that get cosmetics and lots of love and then there's us Quentin mains staring at the ceiling for hours at night knowing that the Nightmare on Elm Street license is in so much shit that cosmetics will never happen and it's a miracle DBD is holding onto it still but we cope by telling ourselves that the Stranger Things DLC came back so /surely/ anything is possible, even cosmetics for Quentin.

  tbh for me chests are very usefull. i play soloq and sometimes in chest you can find medkit, it really helps when theres no one to heal you. or other things, but medkits.. u say "take your own" but for what if i have flashlight? or "take self-care" XD bro imagine using selfcare... but ya, the problem with chests is that they mostly give you brown/grey or yellow items.. for medkits it doesnt matter now, but.. or green key.. omg sometimes i have 5 chests or even more in trail because survivors took offerings but in most of them is green key.. the fucking green key. how i hate green key.

  Reverting at least one of the nerfs as you suggested is definitely fair. My friends and I have said the same thing. There was no reason to double-nerf it. It's not useless as is, but it definitely works better on naturally quiet survivors (Ace, Ada, Kate) and you're not running exhaustion.

  I wouldn't call them completely useless. I've been able to find medkits after using up the one I brought in, and one time I found a key a few minutes before the killer shut the hatch, definitely guarenteeing me the escape when he thought he had to watch the gates at that point. They definitely need to get rid of some stuff off the item pool though. Broken keys, basic toolboxes and green maps are pretty garbage.

  Why do people care about which survivor they play or play against is beyond my understanding. They are all just skins because they are all the same. I play this game for quite time now and I still don't know survivors names. They are just different skins for the same game character so buying cosmetics for them is basically buying skins for skins. Also "maining" specific survivor is just hilarious. It is like someone say: "I main Chatterer skin". No. You just main Cynobite.. Here is the same. You main either survivor or some specific killer.

  Chests are fine . They let new players stack up on items they wouldn’t have and provide free mid kits when needed . Not everything has to be some insane mechanic . Same with totems . I don’t need breaking an unlit totem to help me win the game , sometimes I just want the 1k BP.

  'When needed' like you are guaranteed to get a med kit. Also new players can just bring a med kit before the game

  I disagree with this video wholeheartedly. Ace in the hole, Open Handed, Plunderers instinct, Bond. You see all chests, items and survivors in your vicinity, enhance everyone's aura perks. You generate better items WITH addons and essentially randomise your purpose every game, also changing midgame if needed.. If you win you keep whatever purple/iri item WITH the addons that you also generated.

  ​@@Andrekenz oh sure, burn a toolbox and do something completely normal. OR you could instead find a toolbox that may or may not be a commodious but more likely is a purple variant that, "because you are unlocking chests as part of your build," can discard after at no cost. as the game progresses you likely know(and can see the aura of) a toolbox to carry and sabo with, a flashlight and a medkit you can self heal off of later. It's not about finding an awesome item. It's about unlocking options as the game progresses.

  wdym, they are absolute life savers once you are out of a medkit and need to heal, especially when there are only 2 survivors left or only you and the killer on the map and you are injured and otherwise you wouln't escape if not for that 1 more hit required to down you
