    Great video!! Question can that solenoid by the shifter gears for park prevent the truck from starting? I have change the solenoid against the firewall under the hood with a new starter & now I’m using a screwdriver to start it with the same solenoid on the firewall!! SomeXs it would start & someXs it won’t then I would have to use the screwdriver..

    If it's running rough the first step is open side panel and turn drain screw on bottom of carb (shown at 10:40) to drain any possible water, debris. That solves my issue most of the time. The other 2 clear lines are the vents. Black lines are to fuel. I run these in the winter 40 or so times for 2-3 days and the fuel separates and the ethanol is at the bottom and is usually the problem.

    If you were to rotate the battery 180 degrees, it would put the positive post further away from the frame. Then there would be less chance of sorting it to ground. However, the chassis is not grounded like a vehicle so there is difference in potential from frame to battery positive. That would also allow you to remove the 2x4. I had to use a shim for my battery on my DR Stump grinder when I ordered a wrong battery... I like my grader and have built my own wireless control that seems to work better than DR's. I had upgraded to their wireless package, but the system failed and I went back to original corded components, but built the wireless system...

    Do you have pictures of where the 3rd function hoses connect to the loader valve ?

  • @aaronsrose
    @aaronsrose8 күн бұрын

    Not at the moment. It was pretty straight forward to hook up. Worst part was finding the correct Korean fittings and getting the adapter hoses made to make the connection into the tractor system.

    That may be a way to get better gas mileage to show the Feds. A new hose out into the grill or wheel well should get better temperature readings.

    Man, I installed this on my Eclipse and it sounded awesome for about a month. Now the bass sounds loose, almost like the diaphragm is rattling. It does sound good a super low volume. I'm getting rid of the blue LED adjustment today. Annoying AF. Any recommendations? I'm setting up gain, etc, exactly as you did right now.

  • @aaronsrose

    Interesting. So far it's still running well even though I abuse it to the point of overheating playing Crowbar and Down frequently. lol. Is it solidly screwed to the floor? That made a shocking difference in quality of sound and dB for mine. If that's good and the connections are all good, it may be a defect. Thanks!

    Nice acquisition Aaron. What is the stock thermo temp rating?

  • @aaronsrose
    @aaronsrose11 күн бұрын

    OEM rating is 195F. I've got an OEM Mopar stat on the way and if that doesn't keep it under 200, I'm going to put a 180 in it. Nice thing about this older stuff is they aren't so sensitive to running a little cooler than stock. Thanks!

    I had to buy a new battery for my John Deere mower because the old one tested bad and was 5 years old. After connecting the new battery, I put a new one of these tenders on it. It immediately went to "solid red". Should the new battery really need charging? I use the battery cable claps to connect it. Thank you

    Does the bulb have to work for the zapper grid to work? I am asking because Mine completely stopped working. I took out the bulb which came apart from being so old and tried to get the zapper grid to zap by touching inner and outer grid with a screwdriver, but nothing happened. So I am wondering does it have to have a functioning bulb for the zapper part to work? I don't want to buy a new bulb for it if the zapper part is not going to work.

  • @aaronsrose
    @aaronsrose11 күн бұрын

    I believe the bulb is part of the actual zapping circuit so if that isn't right, nothing else can function. Thanks!

    I got a further letter today on the recall 67A. It discusses the extended warranty, but in the context of it covering if a check engine light comes on after having the recall modification done. Given the accounts of people having a check engine light issue that was difficult to resolve after the recall, it doesn't fill me with confidence that Stellantis are now admitting this could be a problem.

    If you have concerns about tire wear, take it to a certified trailer service shop. Don't do this yourself........ And inspect your tires every trip and replace them before you have a failure.
