Your 2015 won't be getting any warranty work done. Neither will my '14.

In all honesty, if Cummins tried to 'cheat' with the emissions, it was for a reason and Ram owners are going to eventually figure out why Cummins risked $1.7B doing it. It may take time to find out, but eventually it will manifest itself.

My 2500 Cummins will not pass emissions since the recall. I'm stuck in CA now with an emissions system that will not pass smog. Stellantis aka Ram has no answer! This is my last Stellantis product.

Just received the recall notice in the mail today. Don’t think I’ll be taking my 2017 to the dealership. They screwed me over on my extended warranty. Had 6 years & 125,000 miles warranty , but they lied & said only 100,000 miles. The EGR Valve gate cable was broke & was gonna charge 2300.00 to fix it. It was derating at the time I then noticed my warranty papers were missing from the console, they stole them. So I had a de-job done. I’ve got over 190,000 on it now , but some issues are popping up though.

Fingers crossed for the long term.

Most owners I've talk to are either not taking them in, most have had all the bs deleted.

Glad to see no noticeable performance changes. I have a 2014 HO 3500 with Aisin. Live in CA so I have to do it, I only use it to tow 5th wheel so don’t really care about mileage or def use, but lack of power was my biggest concern. Thanks for sharing

I'm really interested to find out what the heck they actually did to end up here. If this change turns out to be a non-event related to drivability, my question is why would you take a risk like this with all the publicity of the VW issues and all the tuners getting busted. Something just seems weird about the whole thing so far.

Agreed, very strange they would take such a risk, I guess if their numbers weren’t as good or better than the competition, sales would have suffered putting them behind?

Just did a tow test with my tractor on my trailer. Absolutely no discernible difference from before. Video will be going up shortly.

If it’s not mandated by your state then don’t get the update! At this point most states don’t require the update for yearly registration.

I just got this in the mail today. I’m in the Inland empire. I use my truck for work so I’m hoping it won’t take forever to do.

Honestly, no idea. I did a towing test video with it the next day and if they hadn't told me they did anything i would not know there was anything different. Thanks!

Im just gonna say it. They arent gonna get a hold of the 85% of trucks in 3 years. I dont go to the dealership.

My 2016 is just under 70k. Its runing out on its warranty. I have everything tucked away in the garage to well you know. I think my electric gear shifter is going bad on the column shift. It has a code as well. Probably last freebie then its geting the works.

I do like it. No issues at all in about 30k miles so far. Not really any real noticeable difference from stock, but no grid heater and everything else has worked fine. Thanks!

Mine is great on my '14. Sounds really good, a little louder using the exhaust brake... Kinda cool.

Just so everyone knows…….I have a 2019 3500 Ram and I had the VB6 Emissions calibration done back in 2020 and this is for the 2019 & 2020 trucks…….the 67A recall is for 2013 through 2018 trucks and basically is the same recall…….now if your truck is still stock you will not see much difference in performance but you may use more DEF fluid……but if your truck is deleted you may have issues

Did you void your warranty with the Banks monster ram?

So far I've had no issues with getting stuff taken care of under warranty. As the Banks unit is 50 state emissions legal and nothing in the PCM was changed I think there would be little they could argue about that intake causing engine issues. I suppose if some piece of the intake got sucked into the engine, then it wouldn't be covered but otherwise I don't think I'll have any problems. Plus my service writer has been very cool.

I heard the 2019-up are not included . Apparently Cummins didn’t turn in programming data or changes to the epa for these model years. Not an update on this guy’s testing, but a case update nonetheless
