Our tao tao 150 runs great while jacked up on the main kickstand, but when we try to ride it ,it dies. Will not stay running.
i keep my batteries charged but they still loose distance and they charge in an hour when it should take 8-10hrs.

hi i had a similar problem on my scooter where the scooter wouldnt idle at all and would only stay turned on when we gave it full throttle. At first we thought it was the valves but after checking the valves and realizing there were no problem with our reed valve we came to realize that the actual reason for us was that the oil pump was having issues and causing the engine to get no oil at low rpm, which makes it hard for the cylinder head to move. I hope this helps somoene
I must jump my battery every time. The new battery was fine for about a week. The scooter will not hold a charge.
What stator do I need for a buddy 50 2008 2-stroke
The buddy 50 has a very specific stator and the only replacement is the original part from genuine. I recommend ordering one through your genuine dealer or you can pick them up online from scooter lounge. The part number is P12210200002

Have you heard of people having trouble with these Chinese gy6 starters? They are only lasting me a couple of months. I know when it's about to go out, I have to keep pushing the start button to get it to start. Eventually, it will go completely out. I know it's the starter because when I install a new one it works great until it goes out. Just wondering if it would worth buying the more expensive starter? The Chinese starters are only $20, the more expensive one is $130.
First minute of the video saved my day. I'm used to a Harley, where you just turn on the power and press the starter button. Bought a used Zuma scooter, and no one told me about holding the brake levers while starting.

I watch this video in several others and when you're installing the Contra sheath with the ball bearing race. Other videos they show that you're to glue the base of that sheath to the backing plate. And all you're doing is tamping it down to seat it. Which is the correct way? This is on the roughhouse scooter I'm referring to

I just bought a 2014 Chinese Kait Model S-08K with only 345 miles. And 10" rim's. The owner told me the starter gear wasn't catching and he ordered a New starter and that he would put it in for me. The owner stated I should kick start the moped until the New One is put in. Well it started by the electric switch. But then I had to ride it while it was lightly raining and the signal's for left and right wasn't working and the horn went from being perfectly sounding to sounding like the horn was drowning in Water. Do these Chinese Moped's have problems when it comes to riding in wet weather? As the Moped I have Now has shown Me it doesn't like Wet weather at all. Is there anything I can do to prevent water getting into important components in front and behind the plastic cover of the Moped? I have a 2012 Kymco Like 50 with over 6,000 Mile's on it. It needs a New exhaust system and New battery. It sounds like a Loud Chainsaw. It has 12" rim's and when I rode it, I could hardly feel the crack's and dip's, but with this light weight Moped from a 250 lb Kymco Like 50 Moped, I am not sure I could ride it during the Winter, Like I did Ride My 2012 Kymco Like 50, the Kymco was Great in the Winter months, but Now I think the 2014 will only be Good when the road's are clear, not Wet with water.

I did mine to try to fix stuck float (oil in gas trying to track down) use a drywall screw to make an indent tap and turn some depot machine screw 0.7 5mm

I have a Chinese GY6 200cc scooter electronic fuel injection it ran fine for a day and the next day it ran fine for a half a day I stopped at a gas station put fuel in it. Went to start it and it won't start nothing. Any ideals?
Another problem, my scooter wont start kick or elektric. idk if the button works. so can i test if my spark plug is still good with my finger and then kicking it?

Just purchased a 2008 sage green model like you're showing us. Mine charges battery as I ride. As a Tilesetter working with the Schluter Systems Ditra Heat, we test cables with a Megohmeter
Holy jumpin josephats !!!. Honda really did a number on this. Was it on purpose ? I think so. Just changing the spark plugs requires a mechanic or a Honda dealer. Honda dealer ---> Ka ching !! Mucho mooola and at least one hour labour charge at $120/hr. Your video was great. Just commenting on Honda.

I bent the dog sh*t out of my rim using soap and rim sheilds and the bead won’t seal hahaha I bent the rim back with the hammer but damn:/
