Okay, I knew about the vinegar/steel wool trick for blackening wood but didn’t know it reacted on tannins. If I had known that, applying it to leather would have been obvious. Thanks so much for sharing this little tidbit on dyeing leather without needing dye. Now I have to try it with some bronze wool to see if it produces a copper-salt-based blue or green. Right, now to watch the rest of the video!

Lovely work, but the exposed metal fastening inside the holster, right next to the weapon, has got to be a recipe for scratching it…?

This was really cool to see the process here. I work with metal so I am normally starting in CAD, but I've recently gotten a laser and have been wanting to do more with it and I like your hands on iterative approach a lot. Also, flippin' sweet holster man, that's real gucci gear. 😉

Nice work. For pocket carry, I use rough side out and smooth side in. Grabs pocket material better & helps to ensure holster stays in pocket and doesn't come out with the draw.
