If the favorite part of your day is finally getting out in the shop and wrenching on some old rusty project, then you're my kinda' people and should give my channel a click.
I collect cool old projects from the 60's, '70's, and '80's... I prefer '70's-era stuff.
Auctions, Facebook Marketplace, and garage sales are my hunting grounds!!
This is not a high-dollar operation. All my stuff is cheap or I just don't buy it.
Lets learn together how to fix up old machines and save 'em from the wrecker!!
Your participation by offering helpful advice in the Comments section would be really neat!!
Cheers, from Ontario!!

Just saw this Congratulation's to you both. Belated 😮
Glad to see someone correctly shitting down the mower… always drop the throttle to lowest setting before shitting off. You will do the engine a favor instead of suddenly shutting off in high gear
the wheels 14x7" look like Ford Granada and the center caps looks to be Dodge Diplomat .
The front spindles are Granada so you may very well be right! Thanks
We need more!
More coming!!...
Old bike ..... lots of maintenance cost. New bike.... lots of payments and maintenance still required..... still just got a pretty new Road King Special. I'd rather have the payment than my bike in the Repair Shop all riding season like last summer.
Beautiful mower! Congrats!!!
Stay tuned.. my next one just might be even sexier, LOL! (editing should be done soon)
Sweet Falcon Sprint!!! Love those things!
It’s a Futura, but thanks! Had it out today. Burned through a 1/4 tank of gas. Didn’t take long, LOL.
thats what I need up here
I just received one of these for free yesterday. I'm gonna run it today.
Very helpful video!
My carb keeps choking itself. I was really hoping to see how you installed the choke cable to the carburetor.
Shop looks nice you can never have enough tools my dad bought a new GTO in 1968 I was 9 years at the time
I just bought the same kind of plow. It is used, so I got just the plow. Other than the mounting fixture for my truck and the joystick control for the plow what else do I need? Is there a control module ? How does the plow connect to the battery?
Search the Western website for parts manual… or better yet, stop in to your closest Western dealer and they’ll call it up on the computer. Brace yourself for the prices
Good to see you back I hate working on small tires at my age.
Work is always getting in the way or something LOL. Glad to hear you still have the Argo. Looking forward to your next videos.
Do you still have that argo conquest. 😊
.. ya.. Anxious to update that. Got overwhelmed with other stuff.. mostly work.
Where the hell have you been 😊
I filmed a bunch of stuff... just no time to edit. BUT.. I'll be making time soon.
Did you end up selling the argo taurus 650?
Yes. That sold a few years ago. Almost flipped it over backwards with my wife on the back and that was that! Lol.
I think the RX75 is in fact the smallest mower made by JD - what a cool machine. (Referring to the video description)
Hi. I have exactly the same 3-wheeler, mine doesn't have a key switch ignition, can you "help" me how you turn it on without a key..
Sorry.. I sold that was years ago and I don't recall how I turned it on and off. Good Luck!
Thanks for the video. Your info was helpful in identifying the one I just bought. Mine is a 1961 Crestliner Mustang model 2051. It has the "brows" on the dashboard and the stern compartment is open (without the shelf) . There's a small plate on the transom with the numbers "2051" and "9617 H" on it. Mine had a 40hp on it that was replaced in 1990 with a Honda 40hp that I may or may not be able to get running again.
I wish I could have finished that project, but sooo may other projects came along back then and I only have so much room. Thanks for the info.
you probably already know this but if you deflate your tire before putting your chains on then inflate them and chains will be supper tight and never spin
Yes. I've seen others do this. I cant brag about my ability to do things right, LOL. However, I've never had my tires slip in the chains.. even these smooth landscape tires work well with the chains.
Great video!! And as always PLEASE BE SAFE RIDING! 2️⃣ down!
Thank you for posting, I would really recogment the Original Workshop Manual, it is on line.
I couldn't find it. I could only find the manual for the "later" 1955 design
Live and learn. We just put a new clutch in a 1965 mf3165. It went well. Nice video.
Wow we have the same style of work😂 good vid brother
Amen my friend!!!!!! I had a 05 RKC and traded it for a 2018 RK Special and I miss it. Thanks for sharing an iconic American Classic that the idiots who own Harley discontinued and they wonder why they're losing sales. Ride safe my friend.
I never saw you wedge the front axle as they normally slump sideways, as they pivot, when separating from the rear. I thought that the clutch was already set up for the second stage. Just plug and play. Also I’ve got the same tractor and a very similar loader. I had to take mine off as the steering was soooo heavy.
Yeh I think it's time to move this tractor on to a new owner soon. It's a beast to try to maneuver around a small lot. I didin't think to "wedge" the front axle.
Cool, thanks for sharing
Yep I'm masked up to,he leave here he's taking a shower again
Thanks for goin through the trouble to put that on here for us. very cool and i bet if you took the gov off and kept the rpms in a safer ungoven'd range, it would have topped out pretty darn good. very cool and those twin opposed sound really good with a good exhaust setup. around 2014 or so, i sold a juke box on ebay, the guy that bought was in indiana and owned the argo company at that time, he wanted the juke box for the showroom. I thought it was called a something "max" but i'm a little foggy right now, so i could be wrong.
Love Canada such a beautiful country n beautiful ppl great vid
Man having fun with his toys. I salute 🫡 you sir!
75 hp!!...lmao!.....its 9hp...
I trust you detect my dry sense of humor.. ;)
@@ontariotubeI think maybe not. My favorite was the safety switch you were “maybe” going to fix.
when are you gonna sell it again bud
Just before my last breath ;)
Nice score, my friend! I know, you can use, a bunch of those parts! When, youre dealing with a specific car, you can never have too many parts.
Love old Pontaic's. My first car was a 1971 Grand Prix Model SJ with the 455. Loved that car, sold to a friend who wrecked it and then it got turned into a circle track dirt car.
*AN FYI FOR ANYONE WHO SEEN THE ADVERTISEMENT PRIOR TO THIS PRESENTATION:* The Breath Easy "UVLIZER" is a scam and a rip off!!! They lie and depend upon the public's ignorance to promote fear & half truths to sell their GARBAGE. Don't fall for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry but I can’t see any value or desire over the post 1972 Malaise.
Most folks dont. but i wasn't like most folks. still ain't, lol.
Back in 2003 I went to a police DWI auction where a 1973 GTO 400 sold for get this....$200. And more than likely it ran and drove. Kick myself for not jumping on that.
i would have paid more than that for the rear bumper, lol.
The problem is it could take 10 years to sell all the parts.
PArts is parts
30 thousands my friend!!!!
Hey there.. love the Pontiacs subbed last video..I'm out in Bc and can only imagine that you film in the summer and edit in the winter... its been a while since my bike was out and i live in one of the only places in Canada where you you can ride 365 .. just insane what parts are going for .. I have a 70 lemans Been avoiding the resto for years but it seem the longer i wait the more its gonna cost....Try to do as much as possible I'm always out doing something .. Rusty Pontiacs I'm with ya ..
I was going to make a separate channel for this project, but the KZread algorithm was crushing my itty-bitty feelings by not promoting the channel hardly at all. So I've been slowly bringing them back here to my main channel... hence the "season" laps. Parts are ridiculously priced these days.. and the bone yards up here have nothing. Stay tuned though.. I found a 3rd car ;)
I’ve been die hard Toyota/Kubota since a young kid my grandpa had the old school (new back then) Toyota 4x4 pickup and Kubota 4x4 tractor. This was back in the mid 80s and one of my cousins still uses that Kubota tractor and old school Toyota 4x4 are known to be the ultimate off road machine indestructible!! I now own 1 and it took me forever to find a good one. 1990 Toyota 4x4 pickup 22RE and a 88 Kubota L2850DT 4x4. Both will serve me well to I’m in the ground.
Still using your vulcan tire machine?
You bet.. a few times a year
That's great. I just picked one of those vulcan tire machines and a m-76 old school bubble balancer today for $100. Both work good. Thanks for posting both videos. I enjoyed them. There's no parts or info anywhere on the internet about these.
I keep searching for a '70's bubble balancer like the one I used at the Uniroyal dealer when I was 15. They never seam to come up for sale. The "modern" one I do have doesn't really feel right.
You can adjust the clutch through the inspection cover on the bottom of the transmission housing
Inspection plates are nice
Just came across your video. My number one reason for riding an older Harley is because I can and have four in my garage for what one new one costs. I enjoy each one of them in their own way. Ride safe!
This was excellent, brings back a lot of memories for me to...
That's a cool 73 GTO my old man had a 1973 Lemans it was his first brand new car off the car lot I grew up in that thing then he had a 1974 Lemans GT it had everything like the 73 GTO the louvered side windows the fake hood scoops with bucket seats and console shift it was red with red and white interior but it come with a 350 until he put a 455 in it out of a 73 Grand Am that was rotted out but the engine was rebuilt with a big cam. It was a blast of a car to drive after that. I got to drive it as a teen until he decided he was too old for cars like that and sold it and he sold his 73 too so that was the end of the Pontiac Lemans cars.
